Vacation rentals in Te Araroa

We had an amazing stay. The peace and serenity was eveything we needed. The view is beautiful and included a spectacular sunrise and sunset. Access to the beach is easy and directly in front of the house. Well equiped & so grateful to find a place like this that is dog friendly. Such a bonus. We’d definitely stay again.

Alex's place was larger than expected. An awesome space for relaxation, close to shops and not too far to beach. We'll be back : )

Jaye and Brent helped us out when we got stuck on the beach above and beyond. Also gave us fresh fish the first night awesome. We loved them and the lodge so much we stayed an extra night. We just loved it. The cottage was like a home away from home…even came with a cat visit. Hosts were awesome, we would have loved to stay longer. Cottage was really well equipped, too. Can highly recommend and hope we will make it back one day.

We were blown away by the very pleasant home after a long drive on twisty roads. I especially loved the recliners that allowed a relaxing change from the car. The beds were great, although sleep time was too short since we met our guide for Mt. Hikurangi at 4:00 am. In short, it was an amazing experience and one we will remember for a long time.

Enjoyed our stay and would stay again if needed. Vaughan was very hospitable as soon as I arrived. I definitely recommend staying at Vaughan and Rita's Airbnb. It is clean & warm, very cozy much like home and the surroundings are amazing. Thanks again very much appreciated.

A really peaceful and beautiful place to stay. A warm welcome by the host and the dog. So much history in the area and very friendly people. Loved it. Great meals at the local hotel.
