Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Tasman Region

Beautiful place we only stayed for one night and didn’t want to leave. Lots of extra little touches , an outside bath complete with bubble bath and Epson salts, outside fire with marshmallows supplied . You won’t regret staying here absolutely magic

Ligar Bay is a fantastic spot, the changing tides provide so much diversity and interest - we kayaked, paddle boarded, walked and swam in the bay and at surrounding beaches and tracks. The house itself is very clean, with beautiful outlook and the garden is lovely. Furnishings and linen are very stylish and beds were comfortable. We found the lack of curtains/blinds a little challenging - there’s a skylight without a blind directly above master bed, one bedroom has no blind and the other had sheers, which provide privacy but no light. We love our sleep in holiday! We also missed having a dishwasher - some wouldn’t care. We appreciated all the pantry staples, great indoor and outdoor showers and water toys available for guests to use. A stunning place!

A beautiful, clean, quiet, warm, and cosy space. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. The kitchen is well equipped and the house is well laid out. We really enjoyed out stay.

lovely family getaway! loved the bath, the friendly community, hours spent at the estuary, sand castle making, kayaking, swimming, kayaking. friendly locals excellent pub dinner final evening! feeling refreshed and Inspired ! thankyou for your beautiful and creative space !

This was a great peaceful place to stay. It allowed us to spread out and enjoy the rural surrounds. The property exceeded our expectations and Alistair was very responsive. To our questions. The new outdoor baths were a favourite, as were the multiple parts of the deck to enjoy at different times of the day.

On arrival the bach was unfortunately not ready for us, but this was due to an oversight by the cleaner, not Emma. Emma was super quick to respond and very apologetic when we messaged about it and couldn't have been more prompt in getting things resolved which we really appreciated. After this initial blip we loved our four night stay here. The bach feels like the best of both worlds - an old family bach and the charm that comes with that, made even better with significant modernising updates like the massive glass doors, and all the other mod cons and extras (big fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer, heatpump/AC, Chromecast, etc). It is off the beaten track and feels so peaceful and private. Being so close to the sea is a real treat. We would love to come back some time in the warmer months so we can make the most of the amazing outdoor areas and pool! (just a bit too chilly for us softies to swim in it at this time of year... we did love the outdoor fireplace though!). :)

Stunningly beautiful location. If you want to be away from hustle and bustle it’s perfect. Close to some amazing locations in the area and the National Park. Great for a family get together lots of space and well kitted out with board games for the evenings.

Alison was a wonderful host and her place was beautiful, even in miserable weather! Alison was very communicative and helpful with rainy day recommendations. The place is cosy and clean and in a wonderful location to explore Mapua and Nelson

This place is something special from the fantastic host to the wonderful relaxing environment they have created. Lots of special little touches that show how much they care for their guest and their comfort. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and look forward to returning. Sue & Steve

Great hosts, and a lovely space to enjoy. Full kitchen was great. They gave lots of local recommendations and were always helpful. Would stay there again!

An absolutely wonderful Airbnb - one of the best I’ve ever stayed in. The outside bathtub was an absolute highlight. Greta location to drive up to Abel Tasman for a day as well.

We had a very pleasant stay (4 nights), but we had to change our habbits. Normally in vacation on some days we are used to prepare our own meals - that wasn't possible (no kitchen, no sink in the small unit). But: in Murchison are some very nice cafes and restaurants.

I loved the cabin, it is super beautiful. It was very nice to be there relaxing.

Great idyllic and private spot. Clean and Di was super hospitable.

We spent a lovely night at the Nest after cycling part of the Tasman Great Taste Trail. It was great to relax in the hut tub looking up at the stars. Lloyd was really clear in his directions and very friendly and helpful when we arrived. Highly recommend the nest for some relaxing off grid downtime.

Such a great place to stay. It was clean and everything we needed. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful.

This is such a great find and well worth the money. A little slice of heaven that is still close to lots of other areas, wish we could have stayed longer. Jude was very welcoming and we appreciated them letting us stay at the creekside cabin when it is normally only for one person.

Lovely and peaceful stay. We loved the cabin and had a great getaway. Mark helped us with our luggage up to the cabin which we really appreciated! Beautiful place, highly recommend!
