House vacation rentals in Taree

A beautiful house in a fantastic spot near Birubi beach and the Tomaree Coastal walk. The layout is great and the house is very stylish. The spa was awesome. Seem small at first but really deep and heats up within 2.5 hours. Plenty of space in the house for a family of 5. Walkable to Birubi beach (10 mins) which is patrolled with a cafe and is great for boogie boarding. Join the coastal walk only 1 min walk away, bring hiking boots as can be a bit muddy/rocky.

This is a lovely retreat which makes you feel on top of the world - with incredible views north over the Port Stephens peninsula. At night the stars are incredible. The house itself is modern, clean and fresh with everything you'd need - and the beds are very comfortable. The communal spa and pool is beautiful - and the water temperature was perfect. The whole place feels like a mini private resort. Jane was very communicative with clear instructions. Would definitely stay here again.

It is an absolute fantastic place. Very peaceful with great views. Feels like heaven on earth. The inside of the house is very clean, spacious and has everything that you would need. Bev is a very nice and friendly host and it was an absolute delight talking to her. My husband and I and also our two dogs loved it so much that we will definitely come back here whenever we can. It was one of the best places that we have been to. From the check in until it was time to leave everything was perfect. We would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone. I guess the the only part that we didn't like was leaving 😞. Many thanks Bev until next time 😊

Jay and Rod’s home was beautiful! We had a wedding to attend at the Little Beach Boathouse, and this place was the perfect location as we could easily walk down to the venue. Would definitely recommend!

A great property to base yourself while in Shoal Bay. 10 minute walks into Shaol Bay, or to the beaches. To have Wreck beach 10 minute walk from your door is fantastic. Beds are extremely comfortable and the house was perfect for what we wanted. If we do get the opportunity to visit Shoal Bay again, we defiantly hope to stay here again.

This is the second time I have stayed here and it is a beautiful home for a weekend away for one as a retreat or for a family getaway. Thoroughly enjoyable.

We had a fantastic stay with everything we needed at the house. The house layout, yard, pool was fantastic. The house was so clean and had literally everything we needed. Great place to stay with family or if you want to be close to the golf course.

It’s a fantastic stay. Beautiful Lakehouse. Great for a family of 4. Got plenty to do at the premises, sauna by the lakeside, kayaking at Cooma Bay and cooking in the beautiful kitchen with the freshly picked vegetables from the garden. Also, there are two lovely doggies, Matilda and Bella checked us in and out. Amazing host!

We had an amazing, relaxing family holiday here. Such a gorgeous home that had a lot of character. The front and back of the property was beautifully landscaped. Pool was well maintained and felt very private. We loved the different living spaces. Host was great at communicating with us. We would come again, thank you so much!

We had a lovely stay here over a mild, sunny Easter long weekend as a birthday treat. Heidi has curated all these wonderful vintage items along with other clever renovations to give an all-encompassing vintage vibe. There was attention to detail in comfort and cosines too. The bed and soft linen was so very comfy! We loved finding all the little treats generously supplied by Heidi - fresh bread, eggs from their own chicken, olive oil, a fresh chocolate coconut slice - and more! And enjoyed just sitting on the verandah having a tea overlooking the lawn towards the reserve and creek at the back. Some cute little birds flirting about in the mornings. Locally we had a great share platter lunch at a place called ‘Flow Bar’. There’s a nice estuary to have a paddle in down at Khappinghat reserve. A short drive south the beach at Black Head was nice and protected to have a dip. Would also recommend the lunch menu and gourmet deli supplies from ‘The Artisan Farmer’ (Nabiac).

About 50m from the beach… expansive deck with perfect sea views… and a comfortable yet not-too-precious interior - it’s everything you want in a beach house.

The house was in a great location. Easy to get to shops and waterways. Lots of extras like sauces, kitchen appliances and spare blankets. Great open plan feel and super clean. House felt brand new. We will be back!

Eric and Trancy are wonderfull and lovely people, it was a pleasure for our family to meet and interact with them. The trip was like going to a meet a family who are so heartwarming. Their place itself is so loved and kept neat and tidy. They took care of us so well, and made sure we had everything during the public holiday where the shops are closed. I can’t recommend enough, people who are looking to visit around Taree must live here and interact with Eric and Trancy. We will sure be back sometime again to stay or atleast to say a ‘hello’.

Words cannot even begin to describe how wonderful our stay at this property was. Everything was just perfect. The venue was pristine with the most beautiful surroundings and Rob was so easy to communicate with and ridiculously accommodating. One of my friends stated that Hillside estate definitely did not spare a single expense and I could not of agreed more. This place was worth every cent. My only regret was we couldn’t stay longer! Thank you Rob for being such a wonderful host. Hopefully we will get to come and stay again in the not so distant future.

Everything about the property was brilliant with one exception: there was no hair dryer. In every hotel we have stayed in the last several years there was always a hair dryer. In our party there were 2 ladies and it was a problem until we were able to borrow one from one of our relatives who lived locally. Other than that we absolutely loved the property and are happy to recommend it completely

Jen was very helpful and flexible in assisting us to extend our stay during the severe flooding in the area. We are very grateful to have been able to stay in such a nice place and town.

We had a wonderful mini-holiday at Piccola Positano, despite the weather not being great. We found Tom and Liz's place even nicer than in the photos, which is rare, and absolutely loved listening to the sound of the ocean from the front porch. So relaxing! The place was clean and tidy, the beds were really comfy, the pool was huge and the garden was lovely. Sunset there was beautiful. The beach is just a very short stroll down the front yard but if you don't want to have to go through the prickly grass, you can drive there in about 30 seconds (or walk along the street and be there in a few minutes). The cafe Tom and Liz recommended was delicious, and again just a short drive or walk away. The local pub also served good food. Taree and Forster are about a 30 minute drive. We highly recommend!!

Our second stay at fabulous Seal way and we had the best time. Lucked out with some fine weather after all the heavy rain and even did some stargazing on the first night around the outdoor fire pit. The only bad thing about this house is that you have to leave !!!! We will be back for sure Thanks so much

Have stayed here a number of times and it has always been so lovely! Perfect location and dog friendly! Ashari is a great host, very flexible and responsive.

We love everything with our stay! The location of the house and the inside layout, very clean, comfortable and with stylish. Private, quiet and secure community area, and easy to access outgoing activities at same time. Our families had the best sun rise watching just near the house, everyone had lots of unforgettable memories. Wish to stay longer next time.

Brad is an awesome host. His place was very nice for our staycation at Diamond beach. He was very approachable and communicative at all times. He also informed us about the situation of the beach and surrounding areas due to recent weather conditions so we can plan accordingly. Would definitely recommend his place.
