Colette was an amazing host, she even surprised me with a birthday treat! The house is even nicer than the pictures, and the outside areas, decks etc.. while not so useful in negative temps, were awesome and you can tell there’s plenty of outdoor space as well as inside, in the more temperate months. She and her husband were great and so helpful. The house has great supplies, anything you need to feel at home. The sunroom is absolutely a stunning place to sit! Enjoyed watching the snow, sun and the deer wander through. Definite do-over.

We loved this beautiful location and what a quiet, peaceful environment it was. What a gorgeous spot! We really enjoyed the canoe that was available to use and the beachside bonfire.

We loved everything about the Bhombay Beach House! It was private, cozy, and super clean. We appreciated the full kitchen (coffeemaker/coffee, full-sized fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, glassware, and utensils), since we like to save $$$ by making breakfast while on vacation. Bob was very responsive without being intrusive. He provided extra amenities without our asking (umbrellas and nighttime snacks!). The large-screen TV included Netflix ... lots of DVDs, too. The views of the beach (Lake Huron) from the living room and kitchen were gorgeous. It was too chilly to use the firepit, but we walked the beach on our last day, which was lovely. LOVED being so close to the water! We were just up the street from the ferry to Mackinac Island. We had never been, and it didn't disappoint. Horse-drawn carriages, the Grand Hotel, funky restaurants, lots of bicycles, fudge! Make sure to visit Bob (and Thom's) store, Cottage UP. Great finds! In short, a perfect stay in every way. It's a very nice older cabin. Very quiet and peaceful area. Many kitchen and bathroom amenities. Owner offered to help in any way, but didn't bother us. We LOVED the private beach area: within easy walking distance, beautiful sunsets on the bay, and we watched the big ships traveling to the Soo Locks / Superior. Brimley is close to the Soo Locks, Tahquamenon Falls, St. Ignace, Point Iroquois Lighthouse, Whitefish Point Lighthouse, and the Shipwreck Museum. Staying here allowed us to stay in one location while easily traveling by day to many beautiful places. We would come again if coming to the Upper Peninsula.

Our stay at the cabin on the private lakefront property was nothing short of amazing! The view of the lake, especially during sunset, was absolutely breathtaking. The property had everything we needed for a perfect getaway—lots of amenities, including provided firewood and fire starters, which made evenings by the fire so enjoyable. There were plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy right on the premises, making it the ideal spot for relaxation and adventure. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting!

Teddy and Trella are great hosts, they were always there to help us in every situation, not just with the RV but others like the campfire, the lake and more. The Recreational Vechicle is in excellent condition, almost new; It was so comfortable and stylish, we wanted to experience how wonderful it was to stay in an RV and this place met all of our expectations. Thanks Teddy and Trella, we will definitely be back.

We loved the cabin! The view is AMAZING--the lake is right off the deck, with stunning views from the bedroom and living room any time of day. It was halfway between Sault Ste. Marie and Pancake Bay, making either easy to get to, and it had everything the two of us could need. We would come back any time!

Great location and perfect place to relax. Close to restaurants open during winter months. Easy drive to Mackinac City, The Soo, Escanaba, etc. Walkable to town. Games and books available for down time. Nice deck to enjoy. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Great place for a weekend getaway. House was very welcoming, clean, and all the amenities we needed were there. Great spot and great view of the lake. Highly recommend for people wanting a small place for a peaceful getaway.
