MacLeod Cove: secluded cottage with private shore

MacLeod Cove is a 3-bedroom cottage on the Bras d'Or, Cape Breton's beautiful inland sea. Enjoy ocean views and private cove, within 25 minutes drive of Baddeck, North Sydney (Newfoundland ferry terminal), and the Cabot Trail. Smoking and fires of any kind are not permitted anywhere on the property. The cottage is very private, surrounded by forest and sea. It typically has good cell phone coverage and we have wifi. The cabin is just at the base of the mountain with a scenic view. 40 km north of Baddeck, 3 km from the intersection to Englishtown ferry, Cabot Trail continues to Cape Smokey Ski Resort and Gondola (35 min) and Cape Breton Highlands National Park (45 min). Rustic wooden interior and beautiful screened veranda to enjoy your coffee in the morning, and watch the sunset with a glass of wine.

The Cottage is fully equipped with everything you will need. Beach access at the Community Hall minutes up the street. Just a minute away from the Englishtown Ferry to the Cabot Trail. In the middle of it all 20 mins to Baddeck, 25 mins to North Sydney and 40 mins to Ingonish and Cape Breton Highlands National park.

Le p'tit blanc -- on the Cabot Trail

Located on the awe-inspiring Cabot Trail, Le P'tit Blanc sits on a quaint hill minutes from the entrance of the National Park. Surrounded by peaceful meadows and panoramic views of the highlands, guests are able to retreat and relax while being a short drive from the bars and restaurants of Chéticamp. Only 5 minutes to the beach! There's a General Store that carries everything from groceries to camping supplies (and much more) open late -- only a hop, skip and a jump away from the house.

Woodsy Cabin on the Bras d'Or

Beautiful, rustic cabin sits cozily surrounded by woodlands. This one room retreat boasts a south west vista of the Bras d'Or Lake, includes a veranda with gorgeous sunsets, king size bed and access to the beach. It is half way between Baddeck and Sydney and a perfect spot for anyone travelling the Cabot Trail. Firewood provided for fire pit if the burn ban is not in effect. Kayaks are available to use at your own risk, with life jackets, and if you are experienced in paddling.

Leaving the cottage empty for three days in between bookings for guest health and safety.
