A beautiful house with a beautiful garden, in a quiet village. Half an hour walk to Tengeru/the main road. Nice communication with Maria ( thanks for the flexibility when our son was sick). And a very friendly gardener.

This house and the whole compound is big and made of high grade wood (maybe mahogany). There are hardly any mosquitoes or flies. The owner did a great job on that. The house and entire compound are very clean. My kids loved it. Cons: the owner needs to improve on communication, including about Wi-Fi usage, etc. The owner left his family photos in the house, which kind of ruined the vacation mood everyday we had to look at that reminder we are in someone else’s home. Also, the master bath is ok, but not big enough, especially the very small vanity/sink, to match the beauty of the house. The time of the year we were there was very cold and no good heating options in the house. Overall: the stay was worth it. I highly recommend this place.

Meru Havens - Cozy, Stylish Stay Near It All.

Amazing place.

Very nice House and friendly people to help you here and there. It's a bit far from the central but if you want to go to a trip to the Kilimanjaro your closer.

Victoria Home

Unosye was such a great host; quick to respond, personable, and takes a great care of her place. She solicits and takes feedback well as she seeks to make her guests’ stay pleasant and comfortable. Unosye’s place was nicely accessible for my octogenarian parents with several health challenges and they were quite pleased with the place. The water pressure in the shower is impressive!! The rates are very reasonable given the location, size of the house and amenities. I HIGHLY recommend the property and the next time I’m in Dar and in need of a place to stay I hope Unosye’s place will be available!!!

This has to be my favorite spot to stay in Arusha. I would recommend it. The night campfire was amazing. I’m definitely coming back 2025.

The building is on a tarmac road which I very much appreciate. Anwar is a great host. My flight arrived at 3 in the morning and he allowed me to check in at about 4 AM in the morning.

We were blown away with the views, the amazing self-catering unit to cook our own foods (to stay within our budget) and the help we received from the hosts were great! We will miss this piece of paradise 🏝 and we only wish for everyone else planning their trip to Zanzibar to take our advise and book the stay at the unique Zanzibar Beach House! We've stayed at many places in Arusha and Spes's place was excellent in all regards. The location close to the airport was perfect. The house itself was spacious with really high celings, comfortable beds and pillows. The showers were perfect. The living area was great for hanging out and the kitchen was the biggest one we've seen. The guard and the housekeeper were on top of things and always available to help us. We will definitely be back! A great house at a great price in Arusha!

Very convenient and quiet location. Beautiful to sit out on the porch and watch the stars. The host came to welcome me and show me around and then left me to the space.
