Homewood Cottage

Homewood cottage is situated in a private garden behind the main homestead “Homewood”. Homewood was built in 1876 by Dr Thomas Fletcher and was the original farm house in the area. The cottage was built in the early 1900s when the property was owned by George Alley a well known philanthropist. Guests can enjoy the private lawn and garden around the cottage, and wander down the hedgerow to the pond overlooking the Tauranga harbour.

'The Fat Fish' is a perfect space for couples to chill, relax and enjoy the charm, beauty and laid back style that is Waihi Beach. It is an entire self contained Studio, with its own entrance, private courtyard and off street parking.
