I had an amazing stay at this place! The space was incredibly clean and well-maintained, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The house was also very spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The pictures just don’t do it justice. Swimming pool and Sauna was a nice touch for sure and definitely made use of it. John was responsive and helpful, making the entire experience seamless. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

We had a lovely time staying at the Old Angel with a large group of women. The sheer number of bathrooms was super handy with the large group number, and the living and dining spaces were super functional for a group of our size. There is a one half freezer and a large fridge, which Nicola had left some treats in which was a lovely touch. Bedrooms were well organised and very clean, with towels provided. There’s a village shop right next door, and a pub 20 meters away which was glorious in the May sunshine. Nicola and her team were very helpful in response to any questions/feedback we we had - overall we had a lovely stay and I would recommend this place to others!

Outstanding in every way. This cottage is worth more than 5* it simply cannot be beat. We have been to a lot of nice properties but Richard and Jo have made this property and their 16 acre land simply beautiful. Very nice people as well.

We had a lovely 2 night family break at Peacock Barn over October half term. It's a beautiful property with fantastic amenities and perfectly located for exploring the many sites and activities the area has to offer. The swimming pool and games room provided the children with a space to play and have fun which was a key factor for choosing this property. The garden was great for our dog providing plenty of space to run around and secure, providing peace of mind. It would be the perfect spot to enjoy during the summer months. We will definitely be returning. Thanks for having us!

Lovely hosts, very friendly and very accommodating! The accommodations are even better in person, it is very cosy and me and friends had the loveliest time for my birthday relaxing weekend! All the amenities were provided, definitely worth the money and definitely enough space for everyone! Thank you so much, would recommend it. Only downside is that there is only two parking spaces available (which is stated) but we managed to find parking elsewhere for our 3rd car.

Stunning property, furnished beautifully, with wonderful crockery always a bonus & you can tell everything has been thought through with care & attention to detail. Just simply beautiful & the dogs loved the resident dogs. You will not be disappointed plus the sofa & bed are super comfy. Everything you need for a wonderful trip away ❤️

My girlfriend and I had a fantastic weekend stay at Ally’s place. The house is beautifully designed, spotless, and very well maintained. The furniture is brand-new and high-quality, and the space is filled with artistic touches and charming decorations. Ally and Simon were wonderful hosts—warm, responsive, and happy to help with anything we needed. The neighborhood is peaceful and scenic, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. One of my favorite spots was a cozy music corner in the living room, equipped with a piano, guitar, and a great selection of sheet music—ideal for music lovers. We truly enjoyed our stay and wished we could stay longer!

We had a wonderful stay, everything went smoothly, and Richard is a super friendly pro-active host. Happy to come back anytime we're in the area!

Had a great stay at Adam’s place. He was very responsive and the house was super clean and cozy. Perfectly located for me to stay close to family. Kitchen well equipped and beds are super comfy. Bath tub was a dream! Thanks again Adam!

The hosts were incredibly responsive, welcoming and friendly. The accommodation was spacious, immaculately clean with plenty of quality products. A cosy friendly pub sits right across the road. We had a fun night there. Went for a couple of local walks. Wish we could have stayed longer to do some more exploring! The surrounding countryside is very pretty and only 30 mins away from Nottingham. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I had a really lovely stay – the house is beautifully done, spotless throughout and in such a peaceful location. It was a perfect base for a course I was doing nearby, and being so close to a couple of big supermarkets was also super convenient. The bed was incredibly comfy and all the instructions for the house were really clear, which made everything super easy. The kitchen was great – both the oven and fridge were spotlessand there was such a generous range of condiments, tea, coffee and bits in the fridge available to use. It was such a thoughtful touch and made it feel really welcoming. A huge thank you to Dayna for being so kind and understanding during my stay – it meant a lot. I also really appreciated the offer of a flexible check-out, even though I didn’t end up needing it. Would absolutely recommend this place to others – it’s a lovely home and Dayna is so thoughtful! One of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed at! Jane was a lovely host, so responsive and helpful, and had thought of everything! Property was spotless and well stocked, especially the kitchen which had everything you could need. All beds were very comfortable, showers and bath were fabulous! We stayed with our three year old and one year old, the house is very child friendly and baby safe. Location is ideal for the short walk to Tutbury and for drives around the local area. Would absolutely stay again, highly recommend.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautifully decorated barn house in Melbourne. As a family of four, it was perfect—spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable, and so peaceful. We all slept soundly in the cosy beds and felt right at home from the moment we arrived. Eve had left some lovely surprises for us, and our children were delighted to relax in the garden with biscuits and squash after the journey. My husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine out there too—it was the perfect start to our stay. There was plenty to keep everyone happy, from books and DVDs to a great TV setup, and we made full use of the spacious kitchen for family meals. The location is brilliant too—within walking distance of several pubs and cafes. We had a lovely dinner at Harpurs and enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Birds Bakery. The property felt very private and secure, and Eve was a fantastic host—warm, helpful, and responsive. Thank you, Eve, for a perfect stay—we’ll definitely be back soon!

We had a fantastic stay at Fallon's place. Everything was as described and the hot tub was a welcome addition to our relaxing mini-break. Highly recommend!

This was an absolutely lovely place to stay, I would absolutely come back with very little hesitation! I will however point out a few things that may be helpful if you choose to stay on this wonderful property... because it doesn't have aircon, if you are staying during a bout of warm weather, all of the gorgeous windows do turn the cottage into a bit of a greenhouse - however because they all open up, a breeze is totally possible. Only other note is when opening the windows to cool down (and because this is a real farm in the country) there are A LOT of bug friends you will make. I think we'll come prepared with a bug candle or two next time so we can enjoy the open air and less mosquitoes ;-)

A fantastic property in a great location. It was peaceful and private, and made for a relaxing and enjoyable break. Great facilities with everything you need, and a lovely garden to relax in too! Sam was an excellent host. He was responsive and provided clear instructions and helpful recommendations ahead of my stay. I highly recommend this property.

Highly recommend staying here! It was a lovely little space which matched the listing perfectly and had everything we needed. It was easy to find, and was really clean & tidy when we arrived. Qas was an incredible host, always responsive and super friendly, and the check-in/out instructions were sent promptly and were really detailed. The bonus of having a parking space so we did not have to park on the street was so useful. We had a brilliant weekend & would definitely stay here again
