We really enjoyed our time in the camp with Aziz. We wanted to spend our time in the desert in a less-touristy area and it was exactly what we were looking for. Interesting conversations with Aziz, delicious food and well-organized activities beside the camp made our two days there unforgettable. I can highly recommend Aziz & his camp

We enjoyed staying at Yahya's very much. The Airbnb is like a little oasis in the small town of Mhamid. With late check-in (10:00 pm) we had the opportunity to enjoy a delicious dinner. There was also a rich breakfast with an omelette. We were able to leave our luggage in the accommodation without any problems during our three-day desert tour. Yahya is a very accommodating and quiet host. We will be happy to come back. :)

Wonderful stay! The rugged desert and beautiful night sky, they gave us an extraordinary experience of peace and respite. After staying in the noisy and bustling of Marrakech for a few days, it was for the spirit. Hosts are always friendly and welcoming. They helped us and gave us stories every step of the way. And the cook deserves 6 Michelin stars!;):) Back to you is unavoidable:) Thank you!

Can’t say enough about the place and the host. Incredible experience out in the dunes - feels like the end of the world. Said is warm and friendly. We did a couple of tours to some of the area dunes and palm groves - beautiful and magical places! Said clearly enjoys sharing his love of the land, and his knowledge about the customs and culture of the region.

An entryway features a simple arch leading to a light-filled space. The terracotta floor is visible, complemented by textured walls. A circular mirror reflects light, while a wall-mounted sink is seen along with a green towel hanging nearby.

We would like to thank Ali and Elza for a wonderful stay. It was one of the best places we have stayed so far. They were both incredibly friendly and welcoming to their wonderful home. We especially enjoyed the amazing dinner and breakfast they served. The accommodation is in such a beautiful location, and at night it is perfect for star gazing. Thank you again for your amazing hospitality, and for a truly enjoyable stay. We couldn't recommend this more to everyone, absolutely worth a stay! We look forward to visiting again soon!

A super place - really off the beaten track. An authentic experience for those looking for adventure. Great food and a friendly welcome. We also booked a 1 night excursion into Erg Chegaga, and really helpfully they found a guide that spoke English which was great and much appreciated. Recommend.

The apartment is for this area that is Zegoro is a gem........ the apartment is super comfortable with washing machine, TV and on a quiet street........ the must is this terrace where I had a pleasant time and especially that it is Imad and Sallah are very attentive and caring ........ and it is well located....... a few steps you have small grocery stores........ and a few steps you are in the city center........ I stayed there 12 very pleasant days and being alone no problem.......... honestly I highly recommend it.........

Opting out of an organized tour and choosing to rent a car to drive to Mhamid was the best decision we made. Our stay at Mbark Camp was the highlight of our entire trip to Morocco. Mbark himself is like an oasis—overflowing with kindness generosity and wisdom. He picked us up and brought us to the camp, a beautiful, modest, yet super comfortable place nestled near the dunes. The location is ideal—just half an hour from Mhamid, but it already feels like you're deep in the desert. Mbark and his team were so warm and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. Every night they serve a simple yet delicious dinner, under the stars followed by traditional live music around the fire :) I also highly recommend taking the extra journey into the desert—you’ll get to see towering dunes, herds of camels, and so much more. We cannot thank Mbark enough for sharing his passion and love for the desert. We'll be back :)

We enjoyed two great nights with Brahim and his family as a family. The place is quietly located on sand dunes and super suitable for starting Sahara tours. We were warmly welcomed there by his brother and immediately felt very comfortable. The food was prepared authentically and lovingly and in the evening he even played guitar for us. After our first night, we met Brahim and set off with him into the desert. The tour with him to the desert camp was exciting and his knowledge of the desert enriching. The time in the dunes was indescribable. The nature, Brahim and the other hosts as well as the dromedaries made the 24 hours in the desert including a ride into the sunset and live music unforgettable. For anyone looking for an authentic desert experience, we can only recommend staying with Brahim.

We were a group of 7 friends and spent 2 days with Mohamed, Mohamed and Mohamed :) What happiness! A sublime, peaceful, warm place, sweet moments by the fire to sing, eat, play music, dance, laugh together... These two days will remain etched in our hearts for life. It was a true family-like experience. From the first day, Khalid's family accepted me not as a guest. I played with kids, helped with farm work, ate together, and slept together. Although Khalid was away for work, he was always reachable by message and told me many things about local life. If you are interested in the environment and the life near a desert, definately recommended!

Unmissable for the calm, and the beauty of the site! Meryem and Jawad welcome you with great generosity. They will meet all your needs and find a solution if you have a problem. Meryem prepares you authentic and family food, very good and Jawad is Tamnougalt's best guide! It will make you discover with great passion and knowledge the ksar, the wonderful casbah restored by the association as well as the palm grove and the Draa Valley. Jawad can also organize a desert camp for you. We highly recommend going there if you like sightseeing without a hustle and bustle and if you are looking for authenticity. We will be happy to visit Meryem, Jawad and their two adorable children!

My kids and I are so happy we chose this place! First of all when we arrived in Mhamid, Said and Ibrahim, the hosts were waiting for us to guide us through Mhamid to their camp. We loved the camp, the hosts were so lovely and peaceful that after driving for 12 hours that day, we immediately felt at home and relaxed. They organised for us a trip to Erg Chegaga, a night there, dinner and breakfast and an awesome camel ride at sunset. Before going there Said showed us around Mhamid and took us to an hotel with a pool to cool ourselves down before going deep in the desert. Any way I wish I could give them as many stars as the night sky in the desert for their warmth and friendliness. Thanks to you all!

We had such a great time staying at Ahmed's AirBnB. His brothers took great care of us as Ahmed was out for a desert tour. They took us in so we would feel right at home. The room was very clean and also beautifully decorated. The AirBnB had wonderful shared spaces to hang out and relax and also a rooftop with an incredible view. Ahmed's brothers were always looking after us and responded to all our needs, we even got a (relatively spontaneous) breakfast which was really tasty. Thank you for everything and we hope to see you again next time. We highly recommend staying here!

Minimalist huts, if that's what you're looking for it's perfect! The place is quiet and safe. Salah is very friendly and always available. If you come by motorbike, a few small puddles of sand but nothing bad; be sure to ask Salah to tell you the right track (don't follow Maps). Cooking is good and breakfast is consistent. Great atmosphere when the evening falls on the Moroccan living room outdoors and we hear Salah playing the Berber blues on the guitar...

Naciri's place is very clean and comfortable. super comfortable bed. a very nice central garden. the dishes eaten there are delicious. The property is located in front of the Zaouia Naciria, the oldest and most famous Islamic center in the Draa Valley. Host was very kind and helpful. gave us many local recommendations. If you come to this area, you absolutely must come to Naciri.

It was an absolutely fantastic experience to sleep in the desert. Mohamed was very nice and responded very quickly to questions. There was shower, water, food and of course also transportation (I wouldn't dare go by car alone - has to be 4x4 to go). We will be happy to come back to experience this magical place again! We already stayed at Ma Bonne Étoile for three nights before our 2 day trip to the desert. We before hand decided to book for an additional night after the desert trip and we were not disappointed we did! We really enjoyed our stay and we can truely recommend Ma Bonne Étoile if you're planning a trip to Erg Chegaga ☀️

BOOK THIS PLACE! Seriously, Said is amazing, the space is beautiful, easy to find, clean, quiet. Wonderful breakfast, great water, comfortable bed, and Said stayed up late to receive me, was responsive, and in good communication (we spoke in 4 languages!!). A really good man in a great location.

An outdoor area is featured, surrounded by earth-toned walls and shaded by lush trees. A large, arched entrance leads to an inviting interior. Handwoven rugs adorn the sandy surface, and a traditional fire pit is present, enhancing the communal space's warmth.

Khalid is an exceptional host, ideal with teenagers , because he is lively, generous, funny! special mention for the walk where he took us with his 4x4 or even the sunset in the dunes, the laughter together, the discussions, the meals taken in his cute garden patio. we'll be back!

We had a lovely time at the desert gate under Karim's Berber tent. The planned meal did not correspond in all respects to the one advertised but we ate well. The camel ride was an unusual experience and went very well. I thank Karim for hosting and providing advice.

The hotel façade is illuminated at night, reflecting in the clear water of a swimming pool. Lush palm trees flank the area, while lounge chairs are positioned along the poolside, creating a serene environment.

Thank you for a lovely stay, we were really impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff were. The swimming pool was a huge hit for our boys, its really big and have wonderful views of mountains.

The exterior of the camp is softly illuminated by candles, creating a serene environment as night falls. Palm trees outline the space, while cozy rugs cover the ground, inviting guests to relax. The warm glow from the windows suggests a welcoming interior.
