The mountain is also home to several vineyards and breweries, a distillery, many many restaurants and cafes, a host of curiosity shops and two farmer and craft markets each month. The mountain caters for those who love nature with many bush walking tracks. It is also the gateway to O’Reillys, Lamington and Binna Burra national parks. Sunset on Handglider Hill over looking Canunga with a glass of wine in hand is not to be missed. This architect-designed house is set on a 1.5-acre property near Mount Tamborine. The Family unit can accommodate 2 x couples and 4 singles, the unit has kitchenette & dining, lounge and bathroom. Guests share the deck, BBQ and pool if there are other guests staying. The bathroom has a large claw foot bath/hand held shower head. There is no separate shower. Living on a farm - sometimes it's dusty and there's spiderwebs, flies and mosquitoes be prepared for country living.

We had a wonderful stay at Paul and Judith’s cottage. The place was peaceful, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The thoughtful touches like extra blankets and bottled water made us feel welcome. Communication was excellent and Paul was very helpful. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet and friendly place to stay near Mt Tamborine. We’d love to come back!

My partner and I had a lovely stay at the English Cottage. It was so quaint and peaceful, it felt like we’d stepped into a storybook. We particularly loved the fireplace of an evening and enjoyed walking to the hang gliders lookout for sunset. It was the perfect getaway for us to enjoy some quality time together and to enjoy what the mountain has to offer- highly recommend!

This is such a lovely place to stay. It’s very quiet and private, with lovely views and the sunrise is gorgeous. The flat is kitted out with everything you might need, and it’s cosy on cold evenings. There were super clear instructions before check-in which made everything easy for us. And the shower is amazing - water pressure is superb and nice and hot.

Riverbend ranch was absolute dream stay! The photos do not do this home any justice , you have to see it in person. Had the pleasure of hosting our baby shower and the space allowed for our guests to roam around freely , perfect for the kids as well as they had so much space outside to run around and have fun! The home itself was well equipped with heaps of amenities and well decorated rooms and recess spaces. 2nights was not enough , we will definitely be back !

A truly stunning lakehouse nestled in the Gold Coast hinterlands — surrounded by lush rainforest, waterfalls, and scenic hiking trails. John and Cathy have taken great care to ensure this will easily be one of the best Airbnbs's you have ever stayed at (the photos do not do it justice). I was particularly impressed with the high-end appliances, fresh Sheridan linens, and 12-speaker indoor/outdoor smart surround sound system. The kitchenette was impressively functional and thoughtfully stocked with a great selection of teas and coffees. There was also an excellent range of card/board games provided — perfect for a cozy night in. A peaceful, luxurious retreat in a wonderful location.
