We stayed at our favourite Airbnb, Ting Tong, over the weekend and once again, it was pure magic. From the moment we arrived, we were wrapped in peace and quiet, surrounded by nature and the calming sounds of the creek below. The outdoor bath is absolutely incredible soaking under the open sky while listening to the birds and water was the perfect way to unwind. Mornings were spent cooking breakfast over the fire, and evenings curled up with a movie, rain gently tapping on the tin roof. It’s honestly one of the most serene and grounding places we’ve ever stayed. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape to recharge and reconnect, Ting Tong is something special. We can’t wait to come back again.

Lovely location on a working farm (Australian stock horse breeders) with friendly dogs, beautiful horses, and superb hosts Amanda & Peter. Peter’s cooked breakfast and homemade jams and passion fruit butter on fresh made bread sitting chatting on their front veranda is a perfect way to start the day. We learnt so much about the horses and the sport of Polo X as well as spending time with the little foal Evie. Amanda and Peter were very generous with their time and hospitality which my teenage daughter and I enjoyed. During the day we hiked in the Scenic Rim and kayaked nearby on the Brisbane River with the cute nearby town of Rosewood offering a good variety of cafes and good dinner options not far away at Phatz Boyz.
