We had an incredible stay at Waterfall Drive, Wongawallan. The property is an absolute haven — tucked away in the scenic Gold Coast hinterland, yet still close enough to shops and coastal attractions. The home itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and designed to make the most of the surrounding natural beauty. Waking up each morning to the sounds of nature and expansive views of the rolling hills was a true highlight. The outdoor areas are stunning, perfect for relaxing with a coffee or wine, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it feel like your own private retreat. Inside, the layout is both functional and luxurious — ideal for families or couples looking for space, comfort, and privacy. The kitchen was well-equiped.

Thanks..just right for what I needed

Sam was very helpful and gave clear and easy instructions for our stay. We really enjoyed the beautiful views at the accomodation and the amazing hikes, lookouts and trails that were a short drive from the accomodation. The kitchen was really well stocked and equipped which made it feel like a home away from home. We loved the fireplace in the house and the fire pit at the top. The woodshed had heaps of supplies making it easy to keep the warm fires going on those cold winter nights.

This was such a great spot for an unwind and reset. We were celebrating a very important milestone of 5 years cancer free. We didn't have much time so could only stay a couple nights but we emersed our self in the serenity of the place and disconnected. The birds were such a treat. Even though it rained most of the time it didn't put a damper on the weekend. My only recommendations would be an outdoor heater and a coat hook :) Thnaks again

Emiliano was a wonderful host, communicated well and gave clear instructions every time. The home was awesome with bbq . We enjoyed a lot in Jacuzzi, played table tennis, and had bbq. Lounge room and kitchen were spectacular where we enjoyed with good coffee, talks and wood-fire. I will be in this place again with my friends and family when i get a chance 😀

The house is ideal for a family group or group of friends as it is very comfortable and has a really well equipped kitchen, plenty of living space and fabulous views. Very quiet too. Nice and warm with the heaters going. Great walks in binnaburra only a short drive away.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was absolutely worth the price, offering stunning views and a truly relaxing atmosphere. Watching the beautiful sunsets was a highlight of my trip – the sky often lit up with vibrant colors, creating the perfect backdrop for a peaceful evening. The view of the Gold Coast on clear days was breathtaking, making it an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a serene getaway with spectacular scenery!

Beautiful place, peaceful and cozy and the food at beach hotel next door is 10/10

Beautiful little oasis to kick back and experience nature. So calm and peaceful. Absolutely loved staying there, we will be back for our next visit to Mt Tamborine. We were provided daily breakfast for us to cook which was a wonderful extra touch. Jo is very friendly and kind, thanks for a having us!

Taree is a great host, she was always responsive and provided great support with every little detail making our stay a great experience. The place is pristine, greatly located, nice views and excellent cafes/ restaurants a few meters away, for sure one of those destinations that we look forward returning and recommending. Lana was super lovely, very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The place was very clean on arrival and great location. Pet friendly which was amazing for us as we are traveling with our cat!

Great place - clean, cosy and central to everything in the GC. Glen was also very responsive and helpful during our stay which we really appreciated.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Self check in was easy to access, apartment was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the ocean. Amenities in the hotel building were lovely; pool, spa, sauna and gym. The location was perfect, close to endless cafes, activities and the beach. No parking available on site however ample overnight parking available at Bruce Bishop Carpark less than 5 minute walk away and reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again!

Our stay was the perfect getaway. Absolutely stunning beach & ocean views, beautiful and clean apartment, exceeding our expectations. Convenient location to accessing cafes, restaurants & grocery stores, which are within a short walking distance. We loved our scenic beach walks to other areas of the Gold Coast, making our experience even more enjoyable. Karine was very informative and kind, always ready and available to help. Absolutely loved our stay at Helen’s place in Burleigh Heads! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by refreshing sea breezes and sweeping views to die for. The apartment was impeccably clean, with every detail thoughtfully considered. Helen’s beautiful styling created a space that felt luxurious yet homely — a true coastal sanctuary. The balcony quickly became our favourite spot — perfect for soaking in the sun, sipping a morning coffee, and watching the surfers and the passing parade below. We also enjoyed daily walks along the headland, taking in the breathtaking beauty of Burleigh and its surrounds. Helen was a wonderful host — warm, responsive, and respectful of our privacy. If you’re after relaxation, style, and that unbeatable Burleigh vibe, this is the place. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful unit. Photos don’t do it justice. The view is absolutely spectacular and all the finishes were incredible! The bed was very firm (ok for husband not for me) and very squeaky when rolling over during the night. The balcony and the way it opens up provides a beautiful breeze and the fans are wonderful on those warm nights. Jason was wonderful to deal with and very quick to respond. Wish we didn’t have to leave but will return. We met friends for dinner and drinks and they loved it also and will also come stay here next time!

We really loved the location of Sammi's place, super close to shops, beach front and restaurants/cafes. Plenty to do, but also a great spot to relax and watch the waves roll in. Everything was accounted for and we felt right at home as soon as we stepped through the doors. Definitely recommend this gem and will return!

Di and Nick’s place was perfect. Beautiful views and spotlessly clean. So easy to get to and from the airport by bus. Easy walk to restaurants and cafes. Easy walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect place for a couple getaway! Great location, close to the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. We watched the sunrise and sunset from the balcony each day! Amazing views. Both hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Till next time!

We had a lovely stay! Unit was clean and well appointed. Everything we needed! Pod coffee machine was a lovely touch. Nice quiet area and close to everything. Darinka was very responsive and communication was great. Our only issue was that someone had parked in our space one evening but Darinka helped us as much as she could. However, the after hours number to call for the resort itself were not helpful at all which was disappointing. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Darinka!
