Designed by the host, an architect who has won numerous awards overseas. Not extraordinary, but a "delicate life" with the theme of enriching everyday life. You can experience that kind of life here. There is a separate indoor bath from the Hinoki bath, but the view of Setouchi and the starry sky from the Goemon bath, heated with firewood, is the best. If you're lucky, you'll see artificial satellites and meteors. The water heated by firewood never gets cold. It warms you from the core of your body. The bedding is specially ordered from a long-established bedding manufacturer in Kyoto, and the bath invites you to relax your body and mind and sleep soundly. Most guests say they sleep well. During the day, you might want to spend some time in the lounge filled with houseplants. Enjoy the sunlight shining through the trees from the skylight. Here, the right answer is to do nothing and just be. How about emptying your mind? If you request at least a week before your stay, we can prepare local food from Oshima Island and seasonal food that we can get through a special route. If you wish, you can also dine at a counter made of pure cedar, similar to a traditional Japanese restaurant.

For guests staying for consecutive nights, we can prepare firewood baths etc. if you wish. You can also see the beautiful starry sky on a good day. ※ Because it is a place rich in nature, in addition to butterflies, bees, fireflies, beetles and other creatures, there are also creatures such as pigs, snakes and centipedes. We have taken measures, but it is easy to get lost in the room, such as centipedes and spiders, so please understand that it is easy to get lost in the room from spring to autumn. Oyama Gion Shrine, supermarkets, convenience stores, etc. are also about 5 minutes away by car. Our stay facility is a traditional Japanese style house and you will stay in the main building. One day one group and possible to stay up to 4 people. It is possible to stay with your dog. (However, in the tatami room, we will ask you to put he/she in a cage.)

Former traditional Japanese confectionery shop(Machiya house). Good access to the Tadanoumi port(about 10 minutes walk) and JR Tadanoumi station(2 minutes walk). You can take the ferry to Okunoshima(rabbit island) from the port. Near-by sightseeing spots: Mt.Kurotaki, Kaguya-hime museum, Preservation district of important historical buildings in Takehara city. Optional dinner is available at cafe area with extra charge. We are sorry but you will hear the noise from the cafe from 8am -11pm.
