Traditional triple room with a view

I only stayed for one night, but Kohei-san made it such a memorable experience. He was incredibly helpful with all my questions, and his warm hospitality really stood out. The dinner they prepared was beyond what I expected—especially the adorable bento box I ordered, which was so kawaii! The private onsen inside their place was the perfect way to relax and unwind. And one of the most thoughtful touches? Kohei-san developed a photo he took during my stay and gave it to me as a souvenir—such a sweet and personal gesture. I would definitely love to come back and stay longer next time. Highly recommend this special place!

Private vacation house Kokoyui

Yoko’s place has a great location. If you are looking to spend some time at a nice little beach or catch some waves surfing this is the spot for you. There isn’t any stores immediately surrounding the house but just a few minutes away is a nice town and there are several hot springs in the area too. The house had many nice touches with everything labeled in English and Japanese. It’s an older house but spotlessly clean and well maintained. I would totally stay here again when visiting the area.

Shino seems distant at first, but when you get to know her and up close, she is friendly and kind. She is a very organized and responsive person. The location is perfect for resting and continuing the Kodo journey If you ask for it and at an additional cost, Shino offers you breakfast and dinner, which by the way was very, very tasty and freshly made. Thanks Shino for helping me receive and send the suitcase on short notice.

This was an amazing place to relax after an exhausting last day on the Kumano Kodo. The unit was clean and well equipped. The host has gone out of their way to make sure you had snacks and lots of cozy places to sit. I would highly recommend this place.

The house is very close to the sea, the host is very enthusiastic and came out early to meet me. I'm sorry we didn't arrive in time because we missed the tram, so the host waited for a long time, but we were still patient when we arrived, and gave us an introduction to nearby places.
