Maison Tehaki, the island spirit

Ma petite maison en bois et de bambou est pleine de charme. Ouverte sur un joli petit terrain arboré elle est décoré d'objets d'art que mon père a réalisés sur la plage. Chaleureuse, elle est bercée par le ressac des vagues sur le récif tout proche. Durant la saison des baleines, on peut voir les cétacés sauter à quelques mètres du récif frangeant. Notre plage rappelle les atolls avec ses coraux éblouissants alors que celle de sable blanc est toute proche (5 min à pied). Bienvenue à Temae.

The beach studio est un appartement en bord de mer avec accès privé a la plage. Un gros point fort est de pouvoir voir des dauphins toute l’année et les baleines (juillet a novembre selon la saison) passées devant votre terrasse. We had a great stay at this little bungalow, despite the fact that it rained frequently and we didn’t have a car or motorbike. Maire, the neighbor who acts as the agent for the property, was always helpful and checked in regularly to make sure we were okay. The best part about the stay was getting to know the neighborhood. Because we walked a lot, to the little store and to the snack place across the street from it, we got to interact with the kind local people. One couple even stopped their car —twice! — to give us rides. The bungalow itself is comfortable, with a spacious bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, and a washing machine. There are a couple of fans. A nice covered lanai has table and chairs and loungers. Overall it was definitely good value for money! WiFi meh The waterfront just below the bungalow is beautiful. We didn’t go swimming because of the bad weather but someone staying in another bungalow did. You’d need water shoes to wade across a little muddy area.

This place was a dream for us! We came for two nights and decided to extend our stay. Tamara was so pleasant and happy to host us. She was so sweet and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy our vacation. We loved cooking in the outdoor kitchen and morning coffee watching the sting rays and sharks. The snorkeling is the best on the island and the view is breath taking. We are already planning to return.

Amazing stay. The home is right next to the water with plenty of water amenities to take advantage of the close proximity. The snorkeling was great in our own private coral bed. There aren't as many turtles and sharks and rays on the southern part, but the ease of hopping in and out of the water was wonderful. There were however mosquitoes so bring some bug spray. My family had an amazing and relaxing time.

David and family are awesome! Polyglot, multicultural, friendly, and very knowledgeable. you will feel right at home. Peaceful place right by the lagoon. You can snorkel right from the property's beach or dock. David offers Kayaks, snorkeling gear, life vests, and bicycles as well. you can find more activities like scuba diving, quad tours, jet-skiing, hiking, and more. Enjoy Moorea!

we had a wonderful stay. a basket of fruits was waiting for us. Prisca and Moana hosted us very well, as well as her family. They showed us all their fruit trees and explained how to get coconut milk. A grandson delighted us with his songs and his yukulele. It felt like family. Don't hesitate to come to their place. We enjoyed our time on Moorea very much. Lani was very helpful and responsive. Also very friendly which is always nice. There is great snorkeling right at the house if you swim out through the channel and then generally to the left. Also we loved the kitty that hangs around. Nice place to stay, we would stay here again.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay in this beautiful home, even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. Everything was really great. The terrace is superb, the pool is ideal and direct access to the beach to enjoy the lagoon is idyllic. The accommodation was perfectly equipped and ideally located, with a breathtaking view of the lagoon. Romain's welcome was very warm and his advice was invaluable to us. We loved our stay in Tahiti and will happily be back.

Beautiful place… right by the water! Small private beach so nice, you can swim right in front of it, it's an aquarium… Hikes to waterfalls accessible on foot. Afterwards, many other activities are on the other side of the island but it's nice to get there by scooter (20-30 min). Moorea is a favorite for me! And we had a wonderful week in this home. Thank you

We were particularly touched by the delicious Sunday morning touches with the firi firi and puaa roti – a real treat! And what about the little gift for my brother's birthday… a delicate attention that moved us a lot.
