Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Taiarapu-Est

Philippe and Sandy are exceptionally kind people and superlative hosts; they offer a very comfortable and well-equipped bungalow with a view you will remember long after you say goodbye. We arrived just at the hour of a spectacular sunset and were greeted and welcomed nearly as friends. Philippe and Sandy introduced the space, gave great recommendations, and offered warmth and generosity that made our stay easier and more enjoyable. We particularly loved the huge avocados from their tree and the fresh banana cake that we ate throughout our stay. The space is exactly as pictured in the listing, open to a vast expense of extraordinary mountainside, lagoon, and ocean and yet entirely private. Well-stocked kitchen and bathroom (with great shower) and overhead fans to keep things cool. Nothing better than waking up to the sound of birds and the colors of the sunrise lighting up the morning sky. Unforgettable! 5/5 stay and 100% recommended to others. Merci, Philippe et Sandy!

The communication with Gerald and Nikita was very quick and constructive right from the start. Since we had problems with the rental car at the beginning (because of Olympia too small) we were warmly welcomed at the airport, it was helped with luggage transport and bought quickly on the way, that we also have breakfast. The local fruits have brought us closer to Nikita personally. Despite the night time, the contact persons were there on site and introduced themselves. We were more than warmly welcomed and the place was decorated with the most beautiful flowers and towel decorations. During our stay, Moea with her wonderful family was always there for us. We got tips for the most beautiful excursions! The service was never intrusive and only available to the fullest extent on request. The house is more than lavishly equipped. The facilities are diverse and varied. Even without a trip there was a lot to do or just relax. Favorite place: Sandpodium

Wonderful thoughtful place. It was a great place to start our adventures in French Polynesia. Great location. Very tidy and a fantastic home base!

The accommodation was exactly as advertised, there were no surprises. Very clean and well equipped. The hosts are very friendly and very responsive. The view of Moorea and the lagoon never gets old. We saw whales and dolphins from the patio. The kitchen was fully equipped to cook our own meals. The Nespresso machine was a plus. Would stay here again with no hesitation.

Thank you Julia! It was absolutely wonderful. Host was there to meet me upon my sporadic arrival to Tahiti. Bungalow was new built & clean with all you needed as a solo traveler or as a set of 2. Calm, private, safe, quiet, situated in the hills with mountain views & a short walk to Taharu’u black volcanic sand beach & grocery store. Property has a pool with lounge chairs, your own private patio, you can see & hear the ocean. Close to the local Tere Tahiti bus stop. Wake up slowly to the sounds of animals & surrounded by the natural world. As my airline occupation allowed, I was able to extend my stay an extra day without hesitation from Julia she was able to accommodate me graciously. I’ve been to the end of the road 4x now, usually I stay with close friends of mine but this time wanted to be right next to the water, needless to say it was well worth it. I spent most of my stay sitting on the back deck staring at Teahupo’o wave listening to a book. You will not regret visiting this magical place.

Very good stay at Karine and Hugo's. If you want to be 15 minutes from the city center (quiet) and high up (beautiful view) this place is perfect. Very available and responsive hosts. The kitchen available is well-equipped for making small meals.
