Vacation rentals with a kayak in Tahiti-Nui

Our family of 5 absolutely loved our stay at Terii’s place. The private beach is amazing. We snorkeled right out our “back yard” and saw coral, turtles, eels, octopus, and a shark! The upstairs dorm room was a little too warm for us to use but the two bedrooms had really great air con. The house is well equipped and the washer was super helpful. Terii provided kayaks, boogie board, long boards, loungers etc.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Franck's property. It is exactly as described and pictured, the check-in and overall communications were very good and proactive. The staff was very friendly and made our visit very comfortable. The included daily breakfast was very nice - local fruits, breads, meats and cheese. There are kayaks available for use and we very much enjoyed the kayaking opportunities from the property. We were lucky to be visited by the somewhat resident pod of 100+ spinner dolphins while kayaking. The beach is very nice but the water is 1-2 ft deep for 200+ yds out so not ideal for swimming. Sunsets were wonderful! Snorkeling from the kayaks would be good. There is a small grocery store directly across the street and there is a food truck turned into a permanent restaurant very close that had good pizza, burgers - including fish burgers - and kabobs. The property grounds are nicely kept with plenty of palm trees for shade. Would definitely stay again.

I had a very relaxing stay at Raiponi’s place - the whole area has a friendly, laid-back vibe. After three months of travelling, I was ready for some down time which I found amongst the papaya and banana trees, beautiful flowering plants, cats and lagoon. Note that the bungalow is not sealed and the air conditioning is from the breeze that flows down from the mountain side - so if you’re in to rustic luxury, this is the place! Raiponi is super friendly and respectful. As a solo traveller I appreciated knowing he was available if I needed anything as the location is remote. I’d be honoured to visit there again!

This place is like an oasis in an oasis. It is serene welcoming and private. We had a lovely time alone and also meeting Nicolai and Maire which was the absolute bonus part. I feel so lucky to have chosen their place. You will need a car but there is an incredible grocery steps away from their place. I loved it when the concrete gate started opening up and all of a sudden you see this most beautiful garden on the water w an area to launch a kayak to go swimming and snorkeling in the ocean. Loved loved loved it!!!

Eric and Isabelle were amazing hosts—warm, thoughtful, and incredibly welcoming. They greeted us with fresh juice and surprised us with fruits and coconut water throughout our stay. Their instructions were clear, and their local recommendations were spot on. When the weather turned, they kindly brought us fresh towels without us even asking. They loved to check in and chat with us throughout our stay which we really appreciate. The place is spotless, cozy, in a safe neighborhood, and close to everything. The direct sea access and free kayaks were a huge bonus. Overall, Eric and Isabelle are truly some of the best, if not the best hosts we’ve ever had. You won’t regret staying here!

Carole went out of her way to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. A wonderful host and serene location, all i heard was the waves crashing on the beach. No traffic noise or loud neighbours. I would recommend this facility to anyone wanting a peaceful and quiet stay.

Maea's oceanfront cottage was absolutely perfect for us, and she is the most considerate and hospitable host! Although Moorea has so much to do on the island, we did not want to leave our idyllic house. It had everything needed for a perfect vacation. The shaded porch, the shaded chairs on the sand, the open-air kitchen with windows open, everything is so well thought out for the guests' comfort. The constant tradewinds through the numerous open windows kept us cool and comfortable. We prepared numerous meals. Maea takes pride in her cottages and in being a gracious host. She was so nice to our kids and took a sincere interest in them and us. We loved kayaking right out front and met other nice guests on the property. We loved the privacy and are already planning our return and will be staying for much longer next time!

Philippe’s home is fantastic. Spotless, incredibly well-equipped (seriously you have everything you could possibly need), and in a stunning, convenient location. The deck is particularly lovely for taking in the spectacular sunsets and there is a breeze that keeps the mosquitoes away. The snorkeling in front of the home is exceptional - we saw a large reef shark, eagle ray, sea turtle, leopard elk, and so much more. I can’t imagine a better spot to stay so close to the airport but that feels worlds away. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Kaipolani’s. The house is in a quiet area—peaceful at night—which made for a relaxing getaway. Her parents, who live next door, were very kind and welcoming and gave us great local tips. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We appreciated having AC in the bedrooms, and access to the kayaks and gear made it easy to enjoy the water. There are restaurants, stores, and beaches all within a 15-minute drive. The only downside was the slow Wi-Fi, so it might not be ideal if you're planning to work remotely. That said, we had a great time overall and would definitely recommend this place to others. We’d happily stay here again!
