Vacation rentals with a kayak in Tahiti

This place is like an oasis in an oasis. It is serene welcoming and private. We had a lovely time alone and also meeting Nicolai and Maire which was the absolute bonus part. I feel so lucky to have chosen their place. You will need a car but there is an incredible grocery steps away from their place. I loved it when the concrete gate started opening up and all of a sudden you see this most beautiful garden on the water w an area to launch a kayak to go swimming and snorkeling in the ocean. Loved loved loved it!!!

This was a great place to end our vacation for a few nights. The place had everything we needed and we even came across a stingray when snorkelling out in the lagoon. There is a supermarket just a 2min walk from the place as well as a few restaurants just down the road. We rented a car from the airport which was a good decision as all the sites on this island are spread far apart and the traffic is busy! This place is a guest house on the property with the owners living on site. They are a very kind and helpful family. We would recommend staying here to begin or end your vacation!

I had a very relaxing stay at Raiponi’s place - the whole area has a friendly, laid-back vibe. After three months of travelling, I was ready for some down time which I found amongst the papaya and banana trees, beautiful flowering plants, cats and lagoon. Note that the bungalow is not sealed and the air conditioning is from the breeze that flows down from the mountain side - so if you’re in to rustic luxury, this is the place! Raiponi is super friendly and respectful. As a solo traveller I appreciated knowing he was available if I needed anything as the location is remote. I’d be honoured to visit there again!

An amazing place and an amazing host! Everything in the description and the pictures is accurate and honest. Snorkeling right off the beach and kayaks available to go to the sandbar. All the amenities that you need, we ate in for most of our meals. Very private and very quiet. Sabrina replied immediately to all of our questions and was very friendly and helpful. You definitely need a car or some sort of transportation. It’s on the quiet, secluded part of the island. We felt like we were living a true Tahitian lifestyle. Strongly recommend! Mauruuru Sabrina! We had a great stay at Eda’s place. She and her son, who met us at check-in, were both very helpful and responsive. The view from the house is beautiful, and there is a nearby ramp to take kayaks into the sea. The house was also well equipped with everything we needed for traveling with a baby. Thank you, Eda!

Philippe’s home is fantastic. Spotless, incredibly well-equipped (seriously you have everything you could possibly need), and in a stunning, convenient location. The deck is particularly lovely for taking in the spectacular sunsets and there is a breeze that keeps the mosquitoes away. The snorkeling in front of the home is exceptional - we saw a large reef shark, eagle ray, sea turtle, leopard elk, and so much more. I can’t imagine a better spot to stay so close to the airport but that feels worlds away. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!!

Absolutely stunning stay! I had big plans to hike and travel all over the island, but honestly I hardly left as I enjoyed the bungalow and paddleboarding over clear waters so much!

There not enough words to say, how fantastic this property and Hosts are!! We stayed 2 months, they taught us Tahiti culture, history, recommedations and Tahiti Love! We will always carry their friendship with us! We arrived after dark, raining hard. Magnolia met us on the road to guide us to their property! She and Philip introduced us to traditions, new food and activity. We had fires on the beach, visiting, laughing and enjoying sunset. The house and patio are so well stocked. We were out of the city, yet close enough we could go if desired. Close to Market, Bank, beaches..... I cannot recommend this property more! This was a great stay! We loved the traditional Tahitian style home with open air to hear all of the waves crashing. The netting on the beds worked wonderfully to keep any insects at bay. Expect to see a gecko here and there on the walls. The path leading to the house is a gorgeous walk with beautiful flowers. We loved the lookout for coffee and sunset views.
