Our stay at Lugar das Letras was nothing short of magical. This beautifully restored house, once an old school, offers breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards—a true feast for the eyes. The rooms and bedrooms were incredibly comfortable, thoughtfully designed to make us feel at home. But what made our experience truly unforgettable were Carla and Paula, the two wonderful ladies who took care of every detail. Every morning, they prepared a memorable breakfast for our entire family, filled with warmth and care. Their kindness and hospitality turned our stay into a dream. We can’t wait to return to this little slice of paradise in the Douro Valley. Highly recommended!

A beautiful location and property in the hills of the Douro. the house and grounds are all kept in great condition. marina was really helpful with organizing food being delivered to the property and local transport as needed. I'd highly recommend visiting during the summer months to fully enjoy the pool and outdoor spaces.

This place was incredible. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, it was perfect. Such a kind host and farm manager, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and convenient to all things in the Douro Valley. I would stay at this place again in a second. Definitely worth it!

Great stay in the Douro in this accommodation, in a calm and friendly atmosphere. Antonio the owner of the house is quite available and friendly. The house was extremely clean and is very well-equipped. Everything matches the listing description. We will keep this address for a future stay in the Douro. Cannot say enough about this place, its everything it says and lots more. The ladies that service the property along with preparing breakfasts were simply awesome. Aurora's chocolate cake was a hit, and we had it for dessert and breakfast! The location and views are postcard perfect and that comes with some nervous driving to get there, but once you know the quirks really not that bad, just be careful. Highly recommending this to friends that are planning a trip to this beautiful part of the world.

We had the perfect stay in Teresa apartment! The apartment is beautiful! we had everything we needed and more. Teresa was so nice and caring and available for every question we had. We will definitely come back!

thank you Bruno, Cristina and family. great pleasure to know you . such an instance so comfortable that we just left and already looking forward to coming back. very nice everything and the setting, landscape, great views tranquility, is priceless. still raining has been fine, in good weather I don't want to imagine. at all times when we felt very comfortable and whenever we asked him things they answered us immediately. a dinner prepared by Cristina and a bruno breakfast very good and I compete. a little afternoon with Bruno's father explaining us every detail of the wine , many years of profession and dedication. we brought very rich oil and wines. it has been a whole pleasure coneeros family 100% recommended.

The house is beautiful, it is beautifully decorated and with an immersive landscape to take the time off. I woke up early to sit at the table that is outside to delight me with the landscape and the quiet and calmness that this same landscape transmits to us. It is 1.2kms from the center of Tabuaço, which has several restaurants and pastries. It is still relatively close to several locations, such as Armamar or Moimenta da Beira, Peso da Régua or Pinhão. The only one else was to announce that it has coffee machine and it does not work. The kitchen is equipped and the bathroom was clean. I recommend and will come back when I can

It is a lovely unit with all the essentials. Ines has thought of everything and added many wonderful touches. The neigbourhood... with its narrow cobbled streets... is full of charm. Street parking is available about 5 min away. Ines is an amazing host... very friendly and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

The house is spectacular. The weather was rainy and cold and the house was warm and comfortable. The unbeatable pool installation, we could enjoy it every day. Everything was very clean and has all kinds of utensils, accessories, pool towels, games, etc. The truth is that it is a totally recommended house to go in a group and the hosts are always attentive and friendly.
