Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Swieqi

We really enjoyed our stay in Matthew & Elaine’s town house with our 11 month old daughter. Communication was friendly and fast and when we missed a baby chair Elaine came to bring it to us right away. It should be noted that there is a lot of construction going on, at both sides of the house, but it’s not on a all day every day basis so it didn’t bother us too much. The walk to the beach is beautiful and it’s also easy to walk to the town square with some bars. If you have a rental car the whole island is easily accessible. Last of all we really appreciated the ‘welcome package’ with some fresh produce. Thanks!

We stayed a couple of weeks in this beautiful home for our Babymoon. We had an absolutely fabulous stay. We were so lucky to experience some of the rare rainy days on Malta, for which Maja and Micheal's home was an ideal base. The home is located on a quiet street perfect got scenic walks, and close to the cute village center. Maja and Micheal were also the warmest hosts and made us feel welcomed through and through. We can only highly recommend this space.

We had an amazing stay! The house was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The location was perfect, and everything was exactly as described—if not better. What truly made our stay special was the host. She was incredibly friendly, responsive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From helpful local tips to thoughtful little touches around the house, she really made a difference. It felt more like visiting a friend than just renting a place.

It is unlikely you will stay anywhere else like this, it is very special. The description and photos are totally accurate. Well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The terrace would have been a lovely place to spend time if the weather had been kinder! Nat responded quickly to any questions and was always helpful. The directions provided made it very easy to find and the key was in the safe. You have to park outside of the old city (part of the charm is virtually no vehicles) but we had no problem parking. Very happy to recommend Nat's house.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Mohamed was extremely responsive to any questions we had. The house was very clean. Location is central in Sliema, perfect for walking. A great location to easily visit the rest of Malta.

We had a great stay at Joe and Lillian's lovely place. They were super-helpful giving us clear instructions and directions, as well as good tips for local places to go. We had one question while we were there and Joe responded straight away. He also took the trouble to call to make sure we were OK after a storm swept over Gozo one day (thankfully the storm didn't stay!). The property is really comfortable and full of character and rustic charm. We loved the upstairs terrace which is a gorgeous sun trap and we also enjoyed spending time in the lovely garden enjoying the afternoon sun. The location is nice and quiet and the village square is within walking distance - in addition to the impressive church it has a few good places to eat drink and have coffee - we tried most of them! We really enjoyed the walk to one of the local bays which Joe had recommended, and all in all really loved our second visit to the island of Gozo.

A large house with a castle-like feel - floors and walls in stone, large spaces. All rooms are nice, each with a bathroom. The place is perfectly adapted for a group of friends or several families. A large dining room table, a couch with a coffee table, and an additional table with chairs outside by the pool are conducive to spending time together. As well as the pool, sun loungers and BBQ. One problem is that after selecting the address, the navigation leads to a different location, only after asking the resident we met was taken to the right house.

Mary is a wonderful host, very friendly, helpful and keen to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you Mary for a great place to stay!

Mark-Anthony is an amazing host who is always available for easy communication and local recommendations. Literally 1 min walk and you are in the sea. The apartment is spotlessly clean and modern, very well equipped and in a very quiet private location

We had a lovely stay at Albert's place! There was tonnes of communication beforehand so we knew exactly how we were getting into the property and it was easy to find. Albert was lovely and flexible about the check in/out times as well which made life so much easier. The apartment was super clean and really stylishly decorated, we had everything we needed for a short stay with coffee and water provided. The balcony is a particular highlight and it's at the back off the main street so nice and peaceful for having coffee in the morning. We'd absolutely return if we were in Valetta again.

Both Frans and Josette were the perfect hosts. Very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 5 weeks and really appreciated the large apartment. The courtyard at the back of the property was gorgeous lots of sun with a lemon tree growing. Apartment is close to the bus stops, restaurants and beaches. Would highly recommend their apartment you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Frans and Josette for making our trip to Malta exceptional and allowing us to stay in your home.

A place with history, like so much of Malta but with all modern amenities. The pool and jacuzzi were really relaxing after a day's sightseeing - we spent all our time 'at home' beside the pool! Thank you Shaun for great communication and a great stay.

A truly fantastic home and an equally fantastic host in Anton! We, a family of 8, made up of children, parents and grandparents, have just had the most amazing stay in Anton’s beautiful home. The house is even better than the photos suggest, a real wow factor as you walk in. It comes nicely furnished with very comfortable beds and furniture, and the house is equipped extremely well with everything you could possibly need. Each room has its own character and charm, then you step outside into pool area and garden and the wow factor continues! We spent a lot of time here, it’s an amazing space and so private. The location in Xaghra is ideal with a few minutes stroll to the village square, a little gem filled with enough varied cafés, bars and small restaurants to keep all tastes satisfied. I must say Al Sale stood out. Then there’s Anton, who greeted and took time to show us around explaining how everything works. He’s the best host I’ve encountered, a friendly, kind and funny gentleman.

Thank you Craig and Andrea for allowing us to stay at your beautiful home. The accommodation is excellent and is exactly as described in the listing and photos. Craig has been extremely responsive and on hand throughout to provide information and to answer any questions that we have had. We found that the Villa is very well located and offers the opportunity to relax in the quiet surroundings, whilst only being a few minutes walk from the local restaurants, bistro’s, bars and supermarkets. Rita the housekeeper is lovely and was very welcoming. She was very quick to respond whenever we required information and was flexible when asked for an earlier check in time. We have throughly enjoyed our stay and would high recommend this Villa for anyone wishing to experience high quality accommodation.

Loved the house and location, had a 360 view of the sea from the roof terrace. The children enjoyed their time in the swimming pools. Had all the amenities needed for a home away from home. The cleaner and owner were very helpful and accommodating to our family and we really appreciate that.

The house is absolutely lovely. It’s located on one of the main squares in Mdina. The square is bustling with activity during the day, and then is peaceful at night and in the morning. It’s magical to be able to wander Mdina during the off hours from most of the tourists. The house worked really well for our three generation family group. Plenty of group spaces for eating together and enjoying each other’s company, and also plenty of spaces for people to have their own time as well. What a treat to stay in the historic palazzo for 10 days. Thank you so much! We hope to return. Andrea and Joanna were fantastic hosts and always responsive.

very responsive host and amazing villa and view

I loved staying at Cathy’s villa - it is so beautiful and spacious - I need to come back with friends and family next time. There’s no other way to describe the villa besides grand and majestic. The pool was where I spent most of my time, it’s an excellent escape from the heat. Cathy was a wonderful host and was very proactive with my well being. I really enjoyed staying here, only wish it could have been longer. But I’ll be back and will absolutely rent this little slice of heaven.
