Genuine Småland cottage near Lake Bolmen

Östergård is a house with history where you live comfortably but with old-fashioned charm. Lake Bolmen is a few hundred meters from the farm and within walking distance you can reach lovely beaches or the boat that you can borrow if you want to go out and try your luck at fishing. The house includes a spacious garden with outdoor furniture and barbecue. On the ground floor there is a kitchen and dining area, a large living room, a smaller room and a lovely veranda. On the upper floor, there are two bedrooms with four beds, bathroom and toilet.

Of course, it is possible to combine fresh and comfortable accommodation with rural idyll, close to meadows, forest and lake! In 2022, we started an exciting project to convert the barn on my grandfather's family farm into a luxurious holiday home. In May 2023, we finished one apartment and in the fall, the other. The possibilities are many: enjoy the tranquility of forest walks, by the lake or on the balcony in the evening sun and combine with excursions in the surrounding area and southern Sweden. Charging the car is included in the price.

In the middle of "Astrid Lindgren's World" and "High Chaparral" is this house in a small community.(About 100 km to both) There is a shop and a well-visited German restaurant, "Lieblingsplatz". Nice hiking areas and lakes. Boat and fishing license can be arranged for an extra cost. Winter time: slalom slope with a lift in Sävsjö. (25 km) There is a high chair, children. Sheets and towels are available to rent.

A nice little house in the countryside perfect for 2 people with 1 child. The house is located with forest, mushrooms, berries and lake around the corner. Fishing licenses are purchased on site, and a boat is available for rent at SEK 200 per day. Proximity to ski and activity facilities. Possibility to rent a wood-fired hot tub for 2 days, SEK 1000. The house is connected to our residential house with access to a large garden with free-range chickens. We are hospitable and happy to provide information.
