Sonja accommodation is great value, Blönduós is a beautiful place and her accommodation is also very nice, the facilities are modern and clean and there is lot’s of space to relax and read, Sonja also very kindly let me have breakfast at 5.30am in the morning as I needed an early start on the morning of my stay, also provided are traditional Icelandic slippers that I thought were very cool.

I think that overall the room I stayed in was good and comfortable, the shared facilities were clean and ample, and Jon was kind and generous towards me. However, when you pay a 100 euros almost for a small room, you expect it to be totally clean (at least I do). There were dead flies on the floor, I guess from the former season. It wasn't terrible, but I think that that the respectful thing to do is to at least check the room before your guest arrive and spend a minute sweeping it. I am sure it will be better the next time, so I can recommend the place.

We spent a lovely night at Karuna Guest House. Our room exceeded our expectations, it was decorated so nicely and had a pretty view over the fields. We even had a sink in our room, so we only had to go to the shared bathroom to use the toilet or shower. When we first used the bathrooms they were very clean, the next morning one toilet wasn‘t very clean anymore thanks to the other guests. The kitchen was very well equipped and for us no problem to work around the other guests. I was glad that we had one of the rooms upstairs, since the walls are very thin and the room downstairs is located next to the bathrooms and kitchen. We had no problems with noise during the night because the other guests weren‘t loud, thankfully. Overall the shared rooms are very nice and we had a great experience! We were able to see the horses in the evening and enjoy the amazing view.

Clean place to spend the night.

This place was the absolute best! the pictures exactly as th cabin is shown and so fantastically clean. The hosts were immediately responsive and very helpful with all questions! Best place we stayed in Iceland.

We loved our stay here. There hosts were warm and welcoming, the space be try comfortable and private, and there were even toys for our 1 year old to play with. The hosts couldn’t have been more welcoming. This was a wonderful place to stay!

This Airbnb is unique and very cozy. The view and surroundings are beautiful. The host was very responsive and even escorted us to the Airbnb when we had the wrong address. Highly recommend!

The house has the nicest view, we could see a great sunset and I enyojed the company of all the animals (horses, sheep, geese, cats). They were really helpful abd answered super fast.
