The benefits of this location is worth every means of transportation to get here. (I recommend a cab to the front door, due to the incline, heavy luggage or after dark hours.) It offers miles of trees, wild life, stars and untainted air. The meals are thoughtfully prepared with organic and authentic ingredients. Every staff coordination is served with precision: baths, transportation, yoga and evening entertainment. The cleanliness is impeccable throughout each and every day, the simplicity of this living will have you returning home to declutter your life. Last but not least, the Kuonji Temple is magical, soul cleansing, breathtaking. Your stay here is only steps away from a life changing experience. I highly recommend this for solo women travelers, it’s the most safest, peaceful and rewarding grid I’ve found. Thank you SHU! ?

We had an amazing time visiting Shimoda. We are from Southwestern Virginia and this was our first time in Japan. Our host helped us feel welcome and was patient with all of our questions. The room was beautiful and the beds were comfortable. Our host suggested a resturant that was within walking distance. It had amazing food and the people were so kind. The spot is also very close to a beautiful beach.

From the moment we arrived, we felt the “peace” that this place is named after. The traditional Japanese sleeping rooms and the untouched, pure nature embraced us right away. The two hosts, Jun (who also offers tours to explore the surrounding shrines and learn more about the local history – which we joined and highly recommend) and Kimi, took care of us with genuine warmth and authenticity. The dinner was also incredibly delicious and authentically Japanese. In the evening you can enjoy the private onsen with Fuji spring water - a very soothing, healing experience. All in all – a clear 10/10, especially for those looking for a break from the hustle and bustle of city life and tourism. This place offers a wonderful opportunity to slow down, disconnect, and experience the mystical side of Japan. Transportation to and from the accommodation was well organized – we were kindly driven by the hosts. Thank you again for your wonderful hospitality – we’ll definitely be back!

オーナーの方はとても親切で柔軟に対応してくださいました。お風呂は大きくは無かったものの、とても趣きのある作りの天然温泉があり、とてもくつろげました。 また機会があればぜひ利用したい宿泊先です。

总的来说，还可以，我们带着两个孩子入住，当天下午4点从东京机场开车过来，到的时候已经10点多了，入住非常简单，清晨拉开窗帘第一次看到属于伊豆的晨光，衬托着厚厚的云层，显得格外神秘。景点离得很近，但是您必须要有车。

Very quick to response, transportation extremely good, took us convenience stores and restaurants to get dinner. Before check-in, they took our luggage from togendai station and we could continue our trip without needing to head back to the hotel. The view was extremely breathtaking, The onsen was also very relaxing, I also like the fact we could rent a private onsen. Very recommended for couples. The Host is very kind and responsive.

Eine tolle, sehr nette Gastgeberfamilie. Makis Frühstück war sehr lecker und das Onsen eine tolle Entspannung am Abend. Makis Mann hat uns sogar am letzten Tag zum Bahnhof gefahren, sehr nett! Ein schönes Ryokan!

入住体验非常好，民宿环境很漂亮，一尘不染，老板们把民宿收拾得非常干净整洁，有氛围感。累了一天回到酒店泡个私汤温泉，很放松惬意~ 泡完温泉还喝了点饮料，价格不贵好喝。 交通还算便捷，走路十多分钟可以到达公交站，刷西瓜卡二十分钟左右公交车直达大室山和仙人掌动物园。

臺灣人的熱情，加上日本人的細膩呵護，無微不至的服務，還可以幫忙洗衣服，幫忙叫車，根據個性化做行程推薦，場地分享，還有電動輔助腳踏車，這邊自由行太重要了，強烈推薦

We had the most amazing time at Rakuten. The place is very comfortable and beautiful. As Japanese do, details of the room well thought out. In particular we love having our own onsen in the room and our own private cinema. We’ve certainly made the most out of it. Price is slightly on the pricey side but certainly worth the private experience. Cannot recommend it more!
