The Butlers Quarters is a charming, well equipped and cosy self-contained flat attached to a grand Victorian family home. This was once where the house staff lived! It's within walking distance of the city, parks and countryside, with Derby's historic Cathedral Quarter and the Darley Abbey World Heritage site on the doorstep. The accommodation is ideal for couples, solo/business travellers as well as families. We are within easy reach of the fantastic Peak District National Park.

I was working in derby and my second time staying with Tim in his home. My review from my first visit can be read and I stand by it with my second stay. It's sufficient to say that Tim was my first choice in staying in derby and will be my first (of he's available) choice for all subsequent visits. I have no complaints and only praise for his friendliness.

A small, freshly decorated room features a wardrobe and a cupboard, with a chest of drawers and a retro-style green cabinet present. A wall-mounted painting of a woman adds artistic character. The carpeted floor enhances the space's warmth.

The room was great for a one night stop off; the bed was comfy and the house had all necessary facilities, as well as being close to transport links. Jason was a super helpful host, providing plenty of information beforehand and responding quickly to emails. Would definiteky consider returning if i need a night in Derby again in the future.
