Diamond in the Rough

It took 5 difficult years restoring our home. It has remained in my family for over 100 years. The back part of the home has its own entrance. It’s a large apartment connected to the main house. It is fully furnished and has all appliances needed to stay comfortably. The cleaning fee includes: using disinfectant cleaners on all surfaces, floors are mopped each time (again with high grade disinfectant), bed linens and towels are replaced after each guest, to ensure extra safety and cleanliness.

Only a 5 minute drive by boat or car to the two restaurants at the state park, Flintside Marina Restaurant, World Famous Booger Bottom and in the car we are 5 minutes away from The Cove, Daphne’s fine dinning, the Dollar General and Striplings Country Store.

This place is absolutely beautiful, we have 5 kids and it was their first time camping, when it was time to leave, they wanted to stay. There was so much for us to do and the owners are so accommodating and nice people. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back for more camping trips.

Warm hostess, gorgeous accommodations, wonderful breakfasts, lots of different and unique animals and all tucked away in beautiful middle Georgia farmland. Conveniently located to the equestrian facilities in Perry and Unadilla. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
