The main rental is set up for four with two bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full) with 1.5 baths. HOWEVER an adjoining additional bedroom with queen bed and ensuite bathroom may be added upon request for additional fee to accommodate up to 6 people. The place is a wonderfully refurbished house in a rural community outside of the main downtown & VaTech campus areas . Convenient to both Blacksburg andChristianburg. The house is very clean, comfortable and has above average amenities, especially in the kitchen. One of the key features is an enormous and beautiful soaking tub in the bathroom. Sharon is a great host and very responsive. She provided snacks, coffee and drinks. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect home base for a college student who is in the process of moving between dorm and apartment. Very easy to find and clear instructions. I had a slight issue with the key code to begin with but the host was extremely helpful and I figured out how to use the lock. Very clean not too much noise and the view was really nice after a long day of classes.

We had a fabulous break at Lorrie's cottage. We immediately felt at home and loved the way that it had been tastefully decorated. We found our stay so peaceful we ended up spending more time at the cottage than we had originally planned abandoning some ideas that we had for outings. Ideally placed to visit Lewisburg which is apparently the coolest small town in the nation, The Greenbrier, Green Bank Observatory, Snowshoe and Cass Railroad. Highly recommended.

Wow. Pictures can’t capture the magic of this place. Nostalgic, sweet, historic, utterly charming and enchanting. It took me back to my childhood. I love the chickens! Clyde was my buddy. This is clearly a very special family, and they have infused this place with love and imagination. I needed a place to rest, and this was perfect for me. I put my feet up, enjoyed the restorative view of the pond, the gentle breeze, and some good old books. Took a bath in the clawfoot tub. Don’t get me started on her delicious zucchini bread! It was heavenly.
