Vacation rentals in Sukoharjo Regency

We are a family in transit after traveling around the city of Solo, to rest, shower and Prayer before further journey home. Host welcome was very kind, even had time to help direct when we were going to park a rather large MPV vehicle.

This was an excellent value for my purposes. The host is very responsive and flexible, even when I lost her keys she extra accommodating. I easily recommend this place and would be glad to come here if I were ever again in Solo.

Had a great stay. The apartment was clean, cozy, and in a perfect location. The host was super helpful and quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again

Absolutely perfect place that feels like at home!

Kartika's place is a very big beautiful house, fully furnished with Javanese traditional furniture. It is so homey that my family loved to gather in it more than going outside :). It is very close to the main street of Solo, so you can walk and enjoy the vibrant Car Free Day on Monday morning. I highly recommend this place for a family vacation. Thanx, Kartika!

Sola Gratia is located inside the compound of a church, just behind it. So, despite it is located in the center of the city’s hustle and bustle, it is quiet either at night and in the day time. It is also strategically located, near a lot of restaurants, as well as Solo’s famous market Pasar Gede. The guesthouse has no laundry service but there are some laundry shops nearby, about less than 300 meters away. The bedroom is nice and super clean, with a large window that makes sunrise wake you up in the morning. My room also faces to a small garden. The shared dining room is beautiful and it is where Mrs. Pur always serves us with jajan pasar (traditional snacks) every morning. The bathroom has no hot water but you can cook hot water by yourself in the guesthouse’ kitchen. Not only Mrs. Pur, but staffs of the church, who don’t actually work for the guesthouse, are very nice, friendly and helpful, always ready offering their hands. No negative things I could share, then.

A pleasant experience starts from a proactive host. Once at the destination, there is a housekeeper to greet. They can help us provide a drink, even order breakfast or other meals. The house is absolutely perfect for a few days holiday with family, in particular us, a family of 3 generations who come from differentcities. With many sitting rooms, inside and on the terrace, comfortable chairs, a courtyard with a variety of ornamental plants make our 3-generation family vacation (eyang to grandchildren) very happy because it can take off kangen, chat and chat. The facilities available even made us choose not to eat outside several times to maximize sitting, watching and talking in the house. Even a ping-pong table is available for those who want to exercise. Comfortable mattresses, refrigerated rooms, thoughtful bathrooms and friendliness of you and the hospitality of the house made us sure we would come back here again when vacationing to Solo.
