The house was so nice and very clean. It was so nice to have a pool right on the ocean. We spent a good part of our stay in and around the pool enjoying the numerous views. We miss waking up every morning to a beautiful sunrise over the mountains. The house is in a very quiet and remote area away from any busy roads or noise which made sleeping very easy. I was blown away with the staff. Made is a great driver and guide and just a wonderful person. He was very good at explaining and showing us his culture. Merci was a wonder cook and was always looking out for us and our kids. Made and Merci really immersed us into the Bali culture and explained so much to us. Our stay fell upon the New Year and Day of Silence, which Made and Merci arranged our own blessing of the house, sea, transportation, and all people at the house! They are the nicest people! Bora Bora was a great restaurant with great staff and delicious food. Can't say enough! Looking forward to our next stay!

Had the most amazing stay with such beautiful amenities. Our host was so lovely, so attentive & the villa felt so clean. All the details were thought of with this villa as everything was so incredibly aesthetic, homey & had everything we needed. I would also highly recommend booking your massages through them as the therapists were so affordable & amazing. Couldn’t recommend this villa enough, we will definitely be back!

Great little secluded spot for a quiet few days in the jungle setting. Would recommend a short stay for sure. Beautiful little tree house with a relaxed vibe and the hosts made the most amazing breakfasts and couldn’t do any more to help.

Our stay at KayuKaya Ubud was absolutely magical – a night we will cherish forever. My boyfriend proposed to me here, and the team at KayuKaya was incredibly supportive, helping him plan everything in advance with such care and attention. The house itself is breathtaking – beautifully designed down to the smallest detail, even incorporating the logo in such a thoughtful and elegant way. You can truly feel the love and passion that went into creating this place. We felt completely at home, deeply touched by the atmosphere and beauty – and we will definitely be coming back. A place made for unforgettable moments.

It’s not a house or a villa it’s a perfect combination of 5 stars boutique hotel and an oasis . 4 days inside without any need of going out this how good and amazing this place is. I’m not a fan of reviews but had to make an exception this time. Thx again for your kindness

It's just amazing! This is the best trip I've ever had! The butler was very responsible and the food was delicious. The view from the room was just wonderful, with a black sand beach right at the door. At night, the sky was full of stars and the swimming pool was also very fun! If I have the chance, I will definitely recommend this house to my friends!

I had an absolutely incredible stay at Villa Clarisse in Bali! The location is simply stunning, nestled in a beautiful, serene setting that truly allowed for complete relaxation. The villa itself is luxurious, with an immense outdoor pool that was perfect for lounging and unwinding. The butlers were incredibly accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was seamless and enjoyable. The villa was spotless, showcasing impeccable cleanliness throughout. Highly recommended! My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely revisit. The villa manager (Azul) helped us arrange transport and massages and pool floaties, and the breakfasts cooked by Shanti and her friend every morning were amazing. The place is also very clean and aesthetic, and we greatly appreciated the ease of communication.

This place was AMAZING! Everything was perfect. Like a fairytale. Don’t hesitate to book it! Also, the beds were super comfortable. All the amenities were more wonderful than listed. They arranged a breakfast and dinner for us! It was delicious! We would’ve loved to have every meal there.

A magical stay at the House of Lights- It was a wonderful oasis away from busy Ubud into a restful beautifully decorated villa overlooking the jungle and rice terraces. Potato and Ollie were wonderful additions ! The staff were warm and went out of their way to help. Breakfasts were wonderful and well worth it. Communication with Esther was seamless with great local recommendations for food, activities and shopping. Thank you for a wonderful way to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary!

This villa was absolutely stunning!! The view was amazing, and each room was gorgeous. The villa host was also very responsive and offered some great services like in house massages etc. Lovely place to stay!

Booked the villa after seeing reviews from other solo female travelers and I wanted to share that I had a great experience! Putu and the whole team are so kind and responsive. I flew in at night and they helped arrange transport and a late check-in. I always felt safe at the villa and there were tons of spas and restaurants within walking distance. It’s a great choice if you want to be in the heart of Ubud but still want something quiet and peaceful to come home to. Also it is located down a small alley but I came home alone after dark like 11PM twice and it was completely safe.

We had such a lovely few days in Ubud staying here in Hana’s villa. The space was spotless, peaceful, and had the most beautiful view over the rice fields. It felt very private and tucked away, yet we always felt safe and completely looked after. Each morning, they bought us breakfast, offered local tips and recommendations, and even offered to get us medication when we weren’t feeling well. They were so warm and helpful, it honestly felt like being at home. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Ubud and surrounds!

This villa was set in idyllic surroundings and we loved it from the moment we set foot inside the villa! The host was so accommodating and messaged us everyday to arrange what cleaning time would work best for us which was very considerate. The villa was clean and the views and atmosphere surrounding the villa were unmatched to anywhere I have stayed before in Bali. We were lucky enough to see monkeys in the distance and even had a baby water monitor lizard pay us a visit one morning! The host helped us to arrange a tour of north bali which was really reasonably priced and took the hassle out of the organisation process!

We had such a relaxing stay at Konubi, it was the perfect place to unwind after a few busy days in Uluwatu. Surrounded by jungle, all we could hear was the sound of nature and the water from the pool. It felt super peaceful and private, like our own little jungle hideaway. The villa was beautifully done with so many thoughtful details. We really loved our time here, it was hard to leave!

I think the most interesting part of the villa was the paintings inside. I often found myself just staring at them. It's a beautiful, calm, quiet, and elegant home. I was unlucky to have to learn how to ride a motorbike on the road leading to this house—but then again, anyone who can ride on that road can probably ride anywhere! Also, if you happen to come across a lizard, don’t be scared. It’s doing its best to stay out of your way. If I ever find myself back in Ubud, I’d definitely consider staying here again. Bali welcomed us warmly, made us feel like family right from the jump. His humbles made us feel like we should have stayed longer in their location. provided us with great service, gave us a tour in his Jeep, which was not mentioned, he gave the tour from the kindness of his heart. I do not believe I have experienced such a great customer service, if I ever come back, I will be staying with Bali and will recommended this place to anyone visiting.
