The cottage has all basic necessities, stove with oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, fridge and freezer also washing machine, smart flat screen and free Wi-Fi. There’s a nice patio around the cottage where you can enjoy the beautiful nature and view, listen to birds singing in the summer and spot the northern lights in the winter.

The location of the accommodation is magnificent; directly in front of the famous mountain Kirkjufell and on the beach. Our children loved the proximity to the water. We stayed here for four nights; there was so much to discover. Our hostess was very warm and very easy to reach. We were allowed to see the lambs on the farm. When we forgot something in the vacation home, she made sure we got it back. Thanks again for that. Clear recommendation. We would always come back.

Such a beautiful house which totally accommodated for our large family. I was impressed with the amenities in the kitchen. Nothing was lacking. Everything was perfectly clean and new and beautiful and we couldn't be happier with the stay. Hands down one of the best Icelandic airbnb's we've been to.

This was a great stop during our visit to the Snæfellsnes Peninsula. There was a grocery store, soccer stadium, and playground within easy walking distance. We did hear some noise from the main road but it did not impact sleeping. The unit was ideal for a family of 4 with the bunk beds!

Such a lovely quaint village near some beautiful sights! Breakfast at the local Harbour café was always a lovely opportunity to chat to others visiting, great atmosphere.

Also really handy in terms of other great spots on the peninsula including Budir and Arnastapi (via the beautiful mountain pass). Also great to have Netflix for those times when the weather is so bad that you can’t hop in the car!

WE absolutely LOVED this place. It's very well equipped and very cozy. You should know, that there lives a family with little kids above and it might get louder sometimes, but it didn't bother us, as we spent the whole day outside anyways. Other than that, the absolutely perfect place to stay!
