Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Stratton

We had an amazing stay! The house is lovely and very comfortable, perfect for going skiing at mount snow and cross country skiing and prospect mountain. We were really glad to have picked it. The house is spacious, we all had a lot of room to ourselves, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The farm is gorgeous. Great grocery stores nearby. Sharon was amazing - so helpful when a winter storm threatened to make it hard for us to drive home. She offered us extra time or even another night discounted, which was really generous. She also communicated with friends to help us determine if the road back to NYC had been cleared. We are so grateful for her help! We hope to return in warmer weather to enjoy the farm even more.

I can only say wonderful things about this property! Everything was beautiful both inside and out. The house was very clean and organized and was also extremely well stocked. Anything that we needed we found in this house. And everyone in our group said the beds were very comfortable… which is very important to me! Erik was great with communication and very proactive. He sent us a note about a week before we checked in that had everything we needed to know; it was quite helpful. I highly recommend this home….and as an added bonus, the view is spectacular! You will not be disappointed if you stay here!

The home is gorgeous - thoughtfully decorated, cozy and clean. The location is perfect for access to Stratton and to Manchester. The host, Jason, provided very clear and helpful instructions for check-in, check-out and use of the home and is friendly and attentive. This is a wonderful place to stay!

This spot is absolutely perfect to be on a quite spot to enjoy nature but still right within walking distance of the center of Wilmington. The cabin itself is beautifully appointed, gorgeous, and super comfortable. Due to rain we ended up spending most of our time inside relaxing and watching movies, and have zero regrets about it. The host was also extremely friendly, helpful and responsive. I'll definitely be coming back again and recommend this for a Wilmington get away weekend!

Loved our stay! Everything was cozy and easy; no issues at all. The heated bathroom floor ended up being one of our favorite parts (so nice!), and the whole place just felt super relaxing. Didn’t need to contact the host because everything was smooth from start to finish. Would definitely come back!

Great place. Very isolated and a beautiful location but still has all the creature comforts. The deck, view, and space are amazing. Fast WiFi, 2 bathrooms, and a dishwasher with garbage disposal are really cool in a rustic location like this. The wood fires hot tub was obviously the star of the show. Clear instructions and good communication for everything. The gas grill and gas fire pit were nice. Every thing was comfortable and great. Stress free. Hope to stay here again, thanks for everything.

stayed here the night before my wedding and carrie was such a great host! she was so accommodating and the space was beautiful. there were so many little touches that made our stay amazing! would stay here again!

Amazing view, great and comfy Airbnb. The hot tub is such a nice plus with the incredible view over the mountains. It was so well equipped we had most of our meals in the Airbnb because the kitchen was so functional. I highly recommend this Airbnb!

This apartment is adorable, clean, well stocked and located right in downtown Wilmington. Walkable to the famous Dot’s restaurant (a must eat at!) and additional restaurants, shops, liquor stores, etc. Jennifer and her husband were so kind and accommodating with a funny / embarrassing misunderstanding on our part! They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and happy. We loved how well stocked the bathrooms were with toiletries that a traveler may have forgotten at home. Happy to stay at any of their properties again anytime!

We had a great visit! Millicent and Tony were very welcoming and responsive when we had questions, and the space was great—comfortable and a great view (when the weather cooperated). The recycling/composting rules are involved but they provided extensive explanations that made it easy to do the right thing. It was a chilly weekend but we stayed cozy, and the location was great for exploring Brattleboro and the surrounding area. We'll be back!

Cindy was great with communications, and gave me all of the instructions I needed to make it a pleasant stay for me, my dog, and the hosts. I stayed Friday and Saturday nights, and enjoyed the craft beer and locally made sourdough pizza in the evenings with a talented musical duo playing on Saturday night. The taproom closes at 8pm, and after closing time the apartment is very quiet and peaceful. The apartment is cozy with attractive furnishings and a comfortable bed, but it is not a place for people with mobility challenges. There are 17 steps up to the apartment, and the shower in a free-standing claw-foot tub doesn't have handrails. I enjoyed my stay, and give it a 5-star review for physically fit singles or a couple!

This is our second stay at Kim’s house. It is the perfect private spot, not too far from town or country. It’s a small space, good for 2 people!

The Yellow Door Inn was exactly what I needed for my little getaway from the craziness of my life!! You are surrounded by art, and comfort that is difficult to find. I felt at peace the moment I arrived and my doggos also loved the large yard and access to the Salem Art Works!! Klara and Greg are great hosts, they responded very quickly and were so so kind to me during my stay. If you are staying in Salem, I would 1000% recommend the Yellow Door Inn. You will not regret it! I know I will most definitely be back next time I stay in the area. It was hard for me to leave and head back home, because I felt I was already home…

5 out of 5 stars. Used this as an opportunity to get away with my pregnant wife, and we were not disappointed. In fact, we wished that we had booked at least another night or two! The pictures for the listing were great, but we felt the cabin looked even better in person. It was clean, homey, and had everything you needed for a usable kitchen. Lasse’s detailed amenities listing and clear directions in the cabin (like how to properly use the hot tub) far exceeded our expectations. I don’t have one negative thing to say. We are already planning to book for next summer!

Really lovely stay. Perfect for a getaway in nature, relaxing, and refreshing. The home was well cared for, had everything we needed, and was so cute and cozy.

A truly magical experience to live in the trees. Igor’s place was a warm and cozy place actually nestled amongst the trees. Any view looked out into the trees and even on a rainy weekend, we enjoyed the sounds, the smells, and all the nature that surrounded us. We even got to use the wood stove which helped keep the chill outside. (Thank goodness all those skills came back to me from childhood) Thank you so much for hosting us and we highly recommend to all.

This cottage was Magical. Reminds me of a cottage out of a storybook. Incredibly peaceful and quiet tucked in the woods. The cottage itself was so lovely and Lisa thought of everything. Well stocked with kitchen, bathroom supplies. I loved the games and record player with tons of records. The cottage is super clean and Lisa was an incredible host. I needed to contact her and she was very responsive and thoughtful. I would highly recommend and will be back in the fall ✌🏻

John was an amazing host. Everything was like the pictures. He had binders with things to do around the area, which was amazing. He had trail maps and board games. The sauna and hot tub were both great and well maintained. Would definitely recommend for any family for a relaxing time. The loft was a nice little hiding spot. Plus it was only a 12 minute drive to Jamaica State Park with amazing views and right down the street from Stratton Mountain. I will definitely be booking this again!!!! It was an absolutely amazing weekend with an absolutely huge outdoor fire pit for the whole family!! The kitchen has everything you need just bring food. Towels and sheets are included as well and an absolutely beautiful view from the dining room table!!

We really loved our stay at Jody's A-Frame home. The boys loved to sled in the yard. It was great to make a fire each evening. It was very close to Mt. Snow for our daily skiing. The day we were supposed to drive up, there was a large storm predicted and Jody worked with us to allow us to arrive earlier than the typical check-in time in order to avoid the storm. It was a special week for us and we are grateful for her hospitality!

We have been coming back to the red house with our children every year for the past 7-8 years. It’s a magical, peaceful place, a place like no other. The cabin has everything needed and we always find it in great condition.
