Beachfront vacation rentals in Strathcona, Vancouver

This was one of my best experiences and Trevor was extremely helpful and responsive. The location was great, I would definitely come back again.

My wife and I spent 9 days at Andrew’s apartment and absolutely loved it! Andrew was very friendly - he met us on arrival, showed us everything, and was always ready to help if we needed anything. The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood and has a separate entrance, which gave us a nice sense of privacy. It was cozy, had all the amenities we needed, and the Wi-Fi was great. We especially enjoyed the patio - it was a highlight! Sitting by the outdoor fireplace in the evenings with an amazing view, even on rainy days thanks to the roof, was such a treat. We also brought our cat, and he felt very comfortable there too. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back!

This is a beautiful, peaceful retreat that's perfect for a weekend or week's visit to White Rock. Andrea's suite is tastefully decorated and has everything you need. The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom is beautiful and has everything you might have forgotten. The kitchen is very well appointed. The suite is also private with good (free) parking. It is easy walking distance to the beach and restaurants/coffee shops and a short drive to the shopping centre. Andrea is very responsive and warmly hospitable; she's an ideal host. I've stayed in the suite several times and I hope to do so again soon.

Jim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. The location was great and the view from the front patio, was serene and beautiful! The kitchen had everything we needed and the living room/dining room area was quite spacious. The closet in the main room was large with plenty of hangers and storage. Overall, a great place to stay in White Rock!

This was a great place. 5 stars all around, although the location should have gotten 10 stars! It’s walking distance to the beach, the grocery store, cafes, restaurants, and even the liquor store. Street parking also wasn’t a problem. The apartment itself is well thought-out with a surprisingly well-stocked kitchen. We also appreciated the little details like new sponges in the kitchen, extra hooks for towels, availability of beach towels—all small things that really show that they know what they’re doing! We were a couple travelling with our adult daughter and although it was a little tight, it was expected as the pictures accurately represented the space. We really enjoyed our short stay here and wish it could have been longer.

We had such a great time here! We were surprised at how quiet and peaceful it was, despite being close to so many amenities/restaurants/parks. The apartment was cozy, we enjoyed the fireplace and comfy couches. We also loved walking to kits beach and around the neighborhood. We’d definitely stay here again.

The pictures really don’t do justice to how perfect the view is here- it is amazing!! We saw humpback whales jumping not even 200 yards from the deck, truly amazing! Vahid is also a very great and communicative host. He made sure to let us know when wildlife was in the vicinity. Highly recommend a stay here!

This was the best Airbnb experience we ever had. The host Nicolette was very welcoming and warm. She made my family feel right at home. Between tea and cookies, she gave us lots of tips on great sites to visit and nice restaurants to dine. Really helpful! The rooms are spacious and clean. It feels like a high end hotel. My daughter really liked their hot tub:-). The beds are also quite comfortable. The house is in a nice neighborhood with golf course close by and river passing through the backyard. It was relaxing. We stayed for two days but really wished we could stay at least two more days. Definitely will come back when we visit Vancouver next time.

Absolutely beautiful. It is so peaceful here and Anne's home is truly a luxury experience. I loved how spacious the house was - my daughter could be watching a movie on the other side of the house and I wouldn't hear a thing. The pool is beautiful and serene. We loved the massage chair, the bidet toilet (my first time using one of these), and the wonderful shower. The area is an upper-end suburb with cafe's, restaurants and some shopping nearby. There are sidewalks everywhere to walk and the ocean is just a half mile or so away. We mostly did day trips to the city but did have one day in the area checking out open houses just for fun. There are so many enormous, gorgeous houses in this area we were happy to spend an afternoon hopping from one to another. Teresa and Anne were lovely, attentive hosts. We enjoyed the few times we spoke to them and were grateful to have them as. hosts. I highly recommend this home for a quiet, beautiful, luxury stay.

Welcoming clean condo in Vancouver. Close to public transit and many restaurants and shops. Enjoyed the space immensely. We had a baby with us, so to have the use of a laundry machine and kitchen, were perfect. If I head back to Vancouver again, I would come back here

My favorite part about staying with May was the personal touches, such as a welcome sign with my name on it. What was even more touching was the surprise wedding gift (I was staying at the airbnb leading up to my wedding). There are a few tiny details I personally would prefer to be different but upon bringing them to the hosts attention they were receptive and considerate of what I had to say.

Great place to stay, prime downtown location at a reasonable price. Very clean, super easy to communicate. Would come back again if in the area.

From check in to check out, Cheryl was an incredible host. Very friendly and accommodating . Even left us some yummy snacks and stocked the fridge with essentials. The Airbnb was immaculate and the pics on the website don’t do it justice. Stunning ocean views plus an open floor plan left us in awe. All in all highly recommend and I’ll definitely bring my family and I to stay again!! Thank you Cheryl and Dean!

This is a stunning 2 bedroom suite with ensuite bathrooms and a large modern kitchen dining and sitting area in between. Perfect for two couples. Professionally designed and appointed . Lovely views of the ocean from inside as well as the outdoor patio surrounded by vibrant garden. Location is perfect too: just steps from the main beach walk and popular WhiteRock strip, but just far enough to be a quiet location . Highly recommended

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Jessie’s home. Even though we never met her in person—which honestly made everything feel even more seamless—she was an outstanding host: incredibly flexible with check-in and check-out, and wonderfully responsive throughout our stay. Jessie went above and beyond to make our family feel at home. This was easily one of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. The space was beautifully organized, well-equipped, and felt both spacious and cozy. It struck the perfect balance between warm and full of character, yet minimalist and open. And the views! The STUNNING views from the living room and front porch were truly unforgettable. What touched us most, though, were the personal touches: Jessie left out toys and even our 2-year-old’s favorite snacks. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and made our stay even more special. Would love to come back!!

Our stay on the float home was a fun experience. Don and Sylvie were very responsive and wanted to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. It was an enjoyable experience in a great part of town! We would stay here again! The only note of feedback I would have is that you can feel that you are on the water (it is stated but not many commented on it). At night it calmed down and we did not feel it as much. Just something to think about if you are sensitive to motion.

Paul and Karen's guest house was wonderful. It's a 5 min walk to the quaint town, and you have a view of the lake from the guest house as well. We spent most of our time outside, and it was really beautiful.

This was our second visit and we were so glad we returned! Terry and Adele have many years of experience in the hospitality business and it sure shows. In addition to being impeccably clean, the dwelling is surrounded by lovely flower arrangements inside and out and very pleasing art. It is tastefully decorated with colorful touches which lend to a cheery, fun atmosphere. The breakfasts Adele prepares are remarkably good and they are artfully designed as well, with tiny floral arrangements on the side. They include fresh fruit and come with a choice of several options, all fresh and home made. The bed is extremely comfortable. There is a lovely bay across the way with lots of wildlife and a trail down the street that leads to a lovely little lake. Quiet, safe, central to everything and very peaceful place to be.

We had a lovely stay at the suite! The location is great and in a lovely neighborhood close to surrounding beaches and White Rock. The space had everything we needed for our trip, and we highly recommend this location for anyone staying around the area.

We had a great time at Yan's place. Our host was very friendly and helpful and made us feel at home. The location was excellent. The apartment was well-equipped and clean. There was ample parking. We recommend this apartment whole-heartedly.
