Bagarstugan

In the beautiful Sörmländska countryside on road 223 between Nyköping and Björnlunda, there is a small cottage on the farm Uvsta Östergården. The cottage is located on an old small farm where we currently run a café. There we have a flea market and shop with furnishings for home and garden. The café serves lighter lunches and has good pastries. Breakfast is available for purchase in the café. Cozy garden that looks out over the fields. Bakarstuga is an older charming cottage of 35 sqm from the 1800s with beautiful views of the fields. Low ceilings!

Old, cozy cottage in the countryside, yet close to everything

Next to Hjälstaviken's nature reserve is this cottage, which is a wing building to Husby-Sjutolft's vicarage. Parts of the house are probably from the 1700s. The house is 60 square meters with two rooms, kitchen, hall and bathroom with shower. You live next door to the host family, but have your own "backside" with a balcony down the afternoon and evening sun and views of the agricultural landscape. In the area, there are nice walking paths and trails around Hjälstaviken, at Ekolsund Castle and in the forests around. Grocery store is within 10 km.

A home in a fantastic location by the sea only 10 meters from the water. With a view over the Stockholm inlet you will see boats and ships pass outside the house that has a terrace towards the sea. The cottage is only 12 km from the center of Stockholm and is secluded from the main building where we ourselves live. Nature reserves for walks and running are a stone's throw from the cottage. The wood-fired hot tub that is on our dock can be rented for an evening. Currently under repair. Available from May 20.

Welcome to our bohemian cottage at Oppgården! We are very happy that you have chosen to rent our little cottage outside Strängnäs, Swedish idyll is probably the right description. Our first guest used the cottage as a writing retreat for a documentary. The couple who came after wanted to visit the Swedish countryside and hoped to see bears (note: there are no bears here). Welcome to our carefully renovated house from the 1600s! Here you live next to Strängnäs Cathedral and have the city center nearby. Our charming house also has an exciting story to tell. The house has had the privilege of being included in the popular history and building conservation program on TV, SVT "Det sitter i väggarna" in the fall of 2023.
