Family-friendly vacation rentals in Strängnäs Municipality

Jättetrevligt hus där man lätt kände sig som hemma. Allt fungerade mycket bra. Fullt utrustat kök som gjorde att det var lätt att laga mat. Trevligt att man tänkt på att fixa lite mat som väntade i kylen när man kom till huset. Spa-badet tip-top!

Thank you so much zeb. We had a great holiday. The villa was in a quite beautiful area in the country side. 1 hour drive to Stockholm. The communication with zeb was excellent he answers in the minute. The kids enjoyed the house and the toys. For sure we will come back.

Ein absolut schönes Haus mit einer sehr tollen Lage. Auch für die Kinder gab es mehr als genug Spielmöglichkeiten. Die Familie hat sehr schnell auf Nachrichten geantwortet und uns somit den Urlaub gerettet. Absolut zu empfehlen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Vi var meget glade og tilfredse ved opholdet i jeres skønne og hyggelige hus. Vi elskede kombinationen af afslapning (på terrassen/haven med hyggelige forskudte niveauer og smuk beplantning, ved og i poolen - særlig vores 2 13 årige børn nød det, læsning af bøger i ét af de mange hyggekroge der fandtes), forskellige gåture med opdagelser i forskelligt terræn (blåbærplukning i klipperne, gåture i skoven/naturreservatet med søer og friluftsbad), ture til Stockholm hvor vi oplevede bare nogle af de spændende kulturudbud (Vasamuseet, bådtur i byens kanaler, slentreture i den Gamle Stat osv..). Som det eneste havde vi svært ved at greje internet-tv´et, selvom vi fik guidning af Joachim. Men det var sommer, og der var masser at lave og foretage sig, så vi savnede det ikke. Mange tak for et rigtig godt ophold i jeres skønne hjem, Joachim. Det har været en fornøjelse (-: Med venlig hilsen Sarah + familie & hund.

We had a great time at Bjorn's place. We were a big group and the place had enough space for all of us. The location is amazing and both the hot-tub and the entertaining center were the most popular entertaining options. The host was always quick to answer our questions and solve our problems. We had a small issue with the heating system but it did not ruin our stay. We had lots of fun and it was perfect for our summer getaway.

Extremely well equipped home with all you could need in the kitchen and plenty of towels. The hot tub was a bonus and the outdoor areas were large, providing many options. The house was clean and we appreciated the welcome groceries the host left. Easy walk to metro station. Lovely quiet setting.

Wunderbares Haus. Sehr bequem, gepflegt und sauber. Wir verbrachten eine Woche in Stockholm mit unseren 3 Teenager-Kinder. Die Wohnung war die perfekte Lösung, sie waren auch begeistert und froh, vor allem, dass sie ihre eigene Räume hatten. Kann ich ohne Zweifel weiterempfehlen.

Absolutely a 10 out of 10! Beautiful home with amazing view of the water. Walk to train which is super easy, and you are in Stockholm within 20 mins! wonderful place for family vacation or for perhaps a few couples - wine on the deck, wonderful kitchen, and a sauna! We had a wonderful family vacation time at Fredrick’s house. Very comfortable house, for we had 7 people and everyone had a very comfortable accommodation. Beautiful house with a spacious deck and backyard in beautiful neighborhood. Very well equipped kitchen, ideal for large family. The house’s backyard leads to a beautiful trail in the woods, with quick access to a few different lake beaches. Kayakomat (kayak rental) is a less than 10 minute walk away. There is a grocery store (Lidl) a short drive away, and more stores 10-15 minutes away. Nice hiking trails and royal palace - all within 15-20 min drive. We had very relaxing time! Fantastisk plats precis vid vattnet. Vedeldad bastu och braskamin på hösten va precis vad vi behövde :) Mysigt hus och hjälpsam värd. Kom ut med tändkuddar när vi märkte att dom var slut tex. Skulle gärna komma tillbaka.

Sehr schön gelegenes Häuschen, mit guter Anbindung per Bus Richtung Bus und Bahnstation Brommaplan, um Richtung Stockholm zu fahren oder Einzukaufen. Schloss Drottningholm zu Fuß in fünf Minuten erreichbar. Gute Lage

Perfect and relaxing stay in a real forest/lake cottage in the countryside. Recommended the Femøre little trekking near the coast and Var Lokal in Gnesta for an amazing beer and relaxed night. The wood for the wood-stove is not included but it's ok.

Me, my girlfriend and our dog spent a few days around New Year’s Eve in Sandra’s cozy little house. It was even better than the pictures and profile would have us believe and we felt instantly at home and comfortable. Perfect place to wind down, enjoy each others company and get some much needed rest. The nearby forests are great for walks and we cooked some great meals in the kitchen and hung out in front of the fire place. The whole house is full of charming, whimsical and intriguing trinkets, paintings and decorations which made each day like a magic adventure. Sandra was very easy to communicate with and even picked us up at the train station and offered us tasty home made welcome gifts upon arriving. Nothing bad to say ! We look forward to return in spring or summer to get another experience!

Schönes Privathaus in ruhiger Gegend. Sauber, tolle Ausstattung, alles was man brauchte war da. Wir waren zu 8 (2 Familien) und haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt. Die Terrasse war am Morgen ein sonnendurchfluteter Traum. Gute Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, nur der Bus Richtung T-Station kommt nur 2 x die Stunde und das nicht spät in der Nacht (also 15' Fußweg). Die einzige Sache was verbessert werden könnte: Türen ölen, da sie quietschen ;) Danke für eine schöne Woche!

En otroligt fin och välkomnande lägenhet med allt som behövs, fräsch och ombonad - man känner sig hemma på en gång och får ett leende i ansiktet när man beträder den.

Amazingly friendly Hosts, we’ve beenso well taking care of, beautiful landscape and sorroundings, lovely cottage , free sauna-pro advice ;) Best place for us to stay and whenever we´re getting back to Sweden, we’ll make sure to stay there again!

La maison est très spacieuse, très fonctionnelle et la communication avec Hanna excellente. La piscine chauffée est très agréable même quand la météo est capricieuse !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this house in Sigtuna, and I couldn't be more impressed! Rekommenderar detta boende om man värdesätter trevlig trädgård med pool och grill. Enkelt att ta sig till Stockholm och skönt att dra sig tillbaka till ett välskött, lugnt och relativt tyst område med trevliga promenadstråk och en sjö alldeles nära. Huset är mycket välskött och hade gott om plats för 2 familjer (6 personer).

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Sofia & Fredrik’s place. The house was in pristine condition and beautifully decorated with a lot of attention to detail. There were flowers, tomatoes from the garden and even goodies for the kids (who felt at home straight away). Sofia and Fredrik are the most lovely hosts. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Stefan's house. The house is really amazing - super well done with a lot of attention to detail. We are a family of four and had lots of space (more than enough). The terasse is great for having dinners 7 barbecues outside (with a fixed installed grill station). The garden is nice and of course there is a trampoline for the kids. The lake is just over the fence for swiming and a small beach nearby. Travelling to downtown is convenient (bus station right outside the door), but takes around 35-40 min. Definitely a great place for families, that want to get some nature. If you look for the Stockholm downtown experience with tons of restaurants around the corner maybe not the ideal place, but feasible as well. Really nice and laid back hosts! Thanks a lot for having us at your place! Would love to come back...

We travelled from Canada and stayed at this beautiful property in July of 2024. Four adults and two children were very well accommodated and the host was very responsive. Small details like childrens books and activities left for use were so kind and appreciated. All information regarding the house itself, the grounds and pool and many local recos and tips were shared which made our stay seamless. The home is large and beautifully decorated. Our children enjoyed the pool during their visit, making our vacation that much more enjoyable. Pool depth is such that older children can touch bottom but deep enough to cool off, even for adults (shoulder depth). The property is private and lush with beautiful gardens. The neighbors are friendly and the area seemed family oriented and safe. The metro station is a quick walk away and from there you can get to downtown Stockholm easily. Should we return to Stockholm, the first place we would check for accomodation would be with this host.

We had an amazing time at Eva’s place. The house was what we wanted - clean, organised, spacious, private and enough things to keep our young children entertained. Our kids loved jumping on the trampoline, shooting basketball, playing with toys or just relaxing in the swimming pool. The location was easy to get to and had easy transport links to the city. Eva was a polite, helpful and understanding host and communicated well and consistently. Most of our guests were happy with their rooms upstairs (apart from the basement beds). The kitchen and fantastic bathroom were good sized and functional. The family had a simple poolside barbecue and celebrated our mother’s birthday in style. We ate a local Thai restaurant within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would hope to stay there again if we revisit Sweden. Thanks for the experience.

The house is amazing an ideal place for families! We had a wonderful stay at Jonas' house. The bed was comfortable, and the location is perfect, just a short walk from the water. The host was very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this place for families looking for a relaxing getaway.
