How we enjoyed it. We had a long weekend with the family including grandpa, child and doggies. A large enclosed garden where the dogs could play and run freely. Hammocks that our teenager has hung in. A fire bowl where we grilled marshmallows in the evening. The biggest highlights were the bbq and the hot tub we made maximum use of. A quiet area, cottage that is complete, a hostess who was quickly accessible and friendly. Beautiful hiking trail towards Bergharen. An escaperoom at Fundustry. We will definitely come back. My Dad and I very much enjoyed staying at this cute cottage. This was my second stay at Chris' place, and it didn't disappoint. Chris and Masja were very welcoming and responded quickly to a minor issue that arose. We'd stay again. :)

Thank you very much for the warm welcome, LIyn. Freshly baked bread was prepared for us when we checked in in the afternoon. It tasted great.The room is tidy and clean, the kitchen is fully equipped, the room we stayed in also has a large garden, full of purple flowers, walking distance to the supermarket and forest park, very convenient, quiet at night, let us enjoy a perfect holiday.Totally recommend it.

Super nice vacation home, very fully furnished, and tastefully decorated. In addition, there is a beautiful garden, with plenty of different possibilities to relax in the sun or in the shade. The home is in a beautiful area. There are many beautiful bike rides and walks to map out. We'd love to come back.

Great place to relax, very nice surroundings! You walk out the gate and have all kinds of beautiful hiking trails to go...Plenty and more... to experience in the immediate vicinity of the cottage, we really enjoyed the peace, the silence and the privacy that is offered here. Spotted all kinds of birds in the garden while enjoying a drink; Flemish jigsaws, robins, finches, goats and even 3 black with white colored squirrels that we have never seen in the Netherlands, this was a welcome extra during breakfast on our last day. In short, really a lovely cottage where we thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed there for 3 nights, as far as we were concerned, far too short. The house itself is just a home where you can enjoy a lovely hot tub undisturbed, a hot tub and if the weather allows it a beautifully landscaped swimming pool outside. We took really beautiful walks, the gardens in Arcen we had already been but stay beautiful. So all praise !!

We felt very welcome upon arrival. Everything was very clear, neat and well arranged. The next day the owner met who came to replace a lamp; what a welcoming, flexible, friendly and thoughtful man. Big bonus was the bean coffee machine, a great addition for coffee lovers like us. Nice garden with lovely seating in a canopy. We gratefully used the fire bowl and had wonderful evenings. Hats off to the owners who really thought of everything, thank you!

Had a wonderfully quiet weekend in "de Snurker". It's exactly what you think it is: quiet, cozy and cozy. Completely recovered from the hustle and bustle in the house this warm cottage. Enjoyed the gas fire bowl outside under the blankets on the comfortable sofa. Do you want to relax for a while? Book this cottage. Our dog Charlie also had a wonderful time here. Was really a plus for us.

Thank you for a wonderful weekend among girlfriends! The apartment is spacious, light and airy. The modern kitchen is super equipped, so it was a lot of fun to cook. The spacious living-dining area has very comfortable seating furniture, lots of games and information flyers. The bedrooms are also very good: comfortable beds, large windows with insect screen and shutters. Large bathroom, separate toilet. The highlight of course is the lovingly landscaped garden with conservatory. Here it was good to endure with a glass of wine in the evening 😉 Our special thanks of course to Fien and François! The contact was very nice from the beginning, a warm welcome, many tips for excursions in the area. Our physical well-being was also taken care of - we were really spoiled! We had a great time at Jan's place. He responded always promptly and was very flexible. Checkin was easy as was Checkout. The place was very nice and spacious. The beds were lovely; The area is fantastic for cycling ... we had a great weekend with gorgeous weather. We definitely want to return to Jan's place.

Excellent guesthouse in a nice quiet location, near the Maas. There were several cottages on site. The house we rented had a private garden that was well screened. The courtyard was shared with everyone and there were some children's bikes. In the house itself, everything was very clean. There was plenty of space, plenty of equipment also in the kitchen. Too bad the piano didn't work (some keys broken and it was completely false!) In addition, it is also unfortunate that the hot tub in the garden is not included but that this is payable separately in cash.

The property is super comfy and very well appointed. You could move the HutTub outside for the ambience, but otherwise everything is fine. Baarlo is certainly not Amsterdam, but you shouldn't have that expectation if you book there. For our men's weekend, the house was so well equipped and offered so much space that we didn't miss any additional activities. We would come back.

Beautiful apartment. We enjoyed the time there very much and enjoyed hiking with our four-legged friends. The lake was about 10 minutes away, where both we and the dogs could swim. The garden was fenced and big enough for our dog and us. The hot tub was very comfortable. All appliances work perfectly and there is a great cookbook in the kitchen. I'd be happy to come back

We stayed at Joeps cottage for a girls' weekend with festival visit and had a wonderful time. There were four of us, which I think is a pleasant number of people for the size of the house. There was everything you needed and everything was very clean. The beds were super comfortable and the small bedroom in the roof is a cozy retreat 🥰 At the hot tub, we had a few start-up difficulties, but on the second day, we were able to enjoy the warm water. Conclusion: We will definitely be back :)

Everything is fine, thank you so much! The place is as shown in the pictures. For some of the surrounding forest trails, you should be careful - especially with young children - as they are made for mountain bikers who race along there accordingly quickly. We particularly liked the incredible birdsong and the beautiful open living area with the large windows and doors. For outside we would have found a sun umbrella helpful.

We were warmly welcomed and were able to sleep peacefully. Alessandra even baked us a banana bread, we were very happy about it. Clear recommendation!

Everything was fine, on arrival the heating was nice and on, the beds were made up and everything was fresh and clean. We were here with our family and combined it with a visit to the Christmas market in Düsseldorf, great to do in terms of distance. Everything is available for a wonderful stay, I can definitely recommend staying with Romy!

We felt very comfortable in Kaya's small house and also enjoyed sitting in the quiet garden in the evening.

Stayed for 3 nights. House was lovely. Daughter, wife and I used the sauna and hot tub. We all agreed we had the best nights sleep, we put that down to the mattresses. The site is pleasant. We would stay again.

Lydia and her family is extremely fun, friendly and responsive. They are open to questions and me and my family had an amazing time at the cottage!! Will totally recommend this to anyone who wishes to spend a well-deserved break in nature but still be close to the cities and a beautiful shopping village🩷🩷
