Mountain Meadow View describes the serene beauty that surrounds this lovely home perfectly. It was clean, comfortable, & Walter is so welcoming. On discovering it was my birthday he suggested an impromptu celebration soon after our arrival. We celebrated by overlooking the meadow at the ‘Camels Hump’ (top of the mountain) with nibbles, drinks, and laughter. He has a great sense of humour and volumes of local knowledge of things to see, what is going on & where to eat. He recommended a local restaurant that turned out to serve some of the best tuck we had during our road trip. But it did not compare to the breakfast we shared with the other guests. He offered a choice for breakfast, checking first if anyone had allergies. A choice of frittata which was scrumptious or orange French toast which was equally sublime. We choose both! Everyone was sharing stories, life experiences, & travel advice over breakfast. Honestly, staying at Mountain Meadow View was one of the high points our trip!

Issy was so welcoming and friendly. The room was cozy, comfortable and clean with plenty of room to spread out. I felt entirely at home! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing place to stay for a ski weekend at Sugarbush! Super comfortable beds, clean space, and great breakfast for a nice extra touch. Felt like home sitting by the fire after a long ski day! We will definitely be back.

We had a short, but lovely time. The place is homy and cozy. Fresh pancakes in the morning was delicious :) Nice chatting with the people present. We will come back !

Great location on Rt 7 made it easy to get around. Cottage room was good sized for three people and my daughter's pet bunny. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We had a great stay and will do it again.

What a gem! We had an incredible stay and felt right at home for the holidays! It was spacious and had all the amenities, plus the charm and character of the old inn. The location was perfect, both for landscape views and day trip travel. We took full advantage of the connector trail to the state park. We hope to visit again!

We loved everything about this place. The setting with beautiful view. House was so cool and interesting filled with thousands of conversation pieces. Room was excellent and clean. Trails along the granite quarry were really cool. The continental breakfast was amazing and we got to meet the other guests who were great. We have traveled the world, and this little side trip to Barre was one of our most memorable experiences. If you want to experience Vermont, this is Vermont. Go to the Granite Museum in town and the cemetery.

Very comfortable suite in a well-appointed B&B. We will stay there again and recommend to friends.

If you're looking for an experience that's more like the original Bed & Breakfast than the current version, this is it. We felt so welcomed by Elizabeth and really enjoyed our conversation with her over breakfast which was included in our stay. Our room was bright, clean and the beds ultra comfy. We look forward to a return visit!

We stayed at Hubble Shire Farm for a night and the house is simply beautiful. Amanda has put so much love into every room and it shows. We had to arrive late but she and her team were very accommodating and still prepared us a delicious dinner. It is a historic house so that does come with some quirks but she was quick to help find a solution. We would recommend staying here to our friends.

This place is magical. Feather beds, beautiful grounds, perfect location in one of the best places in VT. Mick and Karen are kind, thoughtful, and incredible hosts. Each morning, they cook out of this world breakfasts. The breakfasts stand out on their own—creative, rich, filling. Our carriage house was charming, spotless, and easy with a 3 year old. The location here can’t be beat; you have easy access to Warren and Waitsfield. This was a fantastic place to stay and I hope to return.

A great place to stay in the Valley close to all of the action! Tim and Rick were gracious and wonderful hosts. The pancakes in the morning were phenomenal.

We stayed 3 nights at Willow Pond B&B and it exceeded our expectations. The property is probably the most pristine and scenic we've stayed at for an Air BnB. We were hosted by Saskia, the owner's daughter. Saskia was very welcoming, provided wonderful tips and baked delicious pastries. The B&B was super clean and comfortable. The house looked out onto Willow Pond, Le Duc Farm and rolling fields. We enjoyed a stroll on the grounds the first day before heading into Burlington, VT, about 20 minutes away. We visited the farmer's market and rented bikes to explore the Burlington bike path and Colchester Causeway, a trail that takes you into Lake Champlain. After 20 miles of biking, we stopped at the Skinny Pancake for a crepe and coffee. That evening, we ate at Paulines, per Saskia's recommendation, which was a short drive from Willow B&B. The food was top notch. My husband had the schnitzel and I had the scallops. We enjoyed some wine, soup and salad and the price was very reasonable. The next day we drove to Camel's Hump State Park about 35 minutes drive and hiked to the summit. Amazing views. On our final day we visited Shelburne Farms before heading back home to Massachusetts. We would definitely love to visit Willow B&B again, next time with the family. It is conveniently located, has amazing views and welcoming accommodations. We stayed at Marshas BNB and had a fantastic time for the Great Eclipse on 4/8/24! Her property was expansive, the BNB had so many different sitting areas, dens and living rooms to choose from. She provided a delicious and hearty breakfast each morning. She was so helpful when we asked to provide recommendations of things to do and places to go in the area. It was so beautiful and peaceful. The house was SO CLEAN. Squeaky clean. We had the king size room with private bathroom and the bathroom was GIGANTIC. Highly recommended and we will definitely be coming back.

My boyfriend and I did a short bike tour from Woodsville, NH to Burlington, VT, then back. We stayed at the High Hill Inn on our way to Burlington and on our way back to Woodsville and had a lovely time both nights. You couldn't beat the hospitality, thoughtfully decorated rooms, and the view. If we ever find ourselves out that way again, we'll stay there in a heartbeat!

Heaven on earth! Our stay was everything we could have dreamed of, as we looked for a romantic getaway. The room was pristine and homey, and we had a full spa experience in the decadent bathroom. Leanne is a formidable chef, and handled our food restrictions with grace. The breakfast was Michelin-star-worthy! And Leanne & David took such good care of us: gave us plenty of privacy but were perfectly available whenever we had a question. They pointed us to great hiking and an excellent bakery. I only wish our stay had been longer. We will definitely return. 10/10 recommend. If you want a luxury getaway, an escape into beauty & elegance, and the comforts of home - this is the place! LOVED our stay!!

This was our second time staying at Leanne’s! We came two years ago and have not stopped talking about it since. When we got married we knew we had to come back to celebrate! Leanne’s cooking is impeccable, creative and delicious. The house is beautiful and she really makes you feel at home. She provides the best recommendations for restaurants, breweries and activities in the area. It is an absolute pleasure to stay and we can’t wait to be back!

Words cannot describe what an amazing experience we had at the Yellow Farmhouse B&B. Leanne and David are the ultimate hosts. From start to finish everything exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and given a tour of the property. The space was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Our bedroom and bathroom were not only spotless and gorgeous, but very comfortable. The location was perfect and our hosts went out of their way to give us recommendations and directions for nearby exploring and dining. We were fortunate enough to experience the fall colors and enjoyed exploring Stowe, Queechy and North Hero. Our 2 breakfasts were among the best we have ever had, Leanne and David go above and beyond with delicious food that is presented in a very special manner. Overall, our experience was nothing short of incredible. We cannot recommend this property highly enough. Thank you for such a memorable stay-we will definitely be back!
