We just returned after a fantastic week in Fredrik's house on Storholmen, Stockholm. It is a real home with a wonderfully welcoming and personal atmosphere. Lots of books and games and maps and nice places to sit in the sun or shade playing board games and read - both inside and outside. We swam and rowed in Fredrik's boats and ran round the island clockwise and anti-clockwise. A truly memorable and special place. My warmest recommendations!! Claus DK

Jenny's house in Lidingö was truly wonderful! The home is warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated, reflecting the genuine charm of a family living there. The stunning views made our stay unforgettable, and waking up every morning to such a peaceful setting felt incredibly special. Jenny was thoughtful, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed to feel right at home. We appreciated all the personal touches and warmth throughout the house—it truly felt like staying with friends. We couldn't have asked for a better experience! Highly recommended for anyone visiting Stockholm.

We loved the house and location - and Daniel was an amazing host (responsive to questions and super nice!)! Sitting right on the water with amazing views and a large, well furnished deck, we enjoyed the beautiful spot (as did our dog)! The sauna was amazing, with a quick/private run down to the water for a refreshing plunge. and the house was well designed and set up with everything you need for a relaxing and chill vacation!

The house is an oasis of calm in a busy city. It retains many of its fin-de-siecle features and is very comfortable. We were able to sit out in the garden for drinks and our dinner and felt very private. It was easy to get into the centre of town via a short bus ride and then a 15 minute ride on the underground. The bedrooms had very comfortable beds and the lounge/dining room was large enough for four adults to eat and then sit comfortably. We did not try the TV. The kitchen was well appointed and well equipped and there would be no problems cooking and there is a small dishwasher. I would point that guests with mobility issues may struggle with the stairs and the bath/shower. We were a party of four 65+ year olds and we had no issues, but the stairs are not the easiest and getting in and out of the high bathtub and then squatting/kneeling to shower may cause some people a problem. Tereza was a fantastic host and I highly recommend staying here if you want some peace and calm.

Our time at this place was just fantastic! From the first moment, we felt incredibly comfortable. The cleanliness and coziness of the house were outstanding, and the lovingly designed details of the furnishings inspired us again and again. Each room was furnished with so much taste and a sense of something special that it resulted in a harmonious and inviting overall picture – almost like a home away from home. The sauna and fireplace in particular perfectly rounded off our stay and provided unforgettable moments of well-being. An absolute highlight was the snowfall on New Year's Eve, which turned the already picturesque surroundings into a true winter wonderland. This combination of fantastic scenery and exceptional accommodation has made our Sweden vacation just as we had dreamed of it. We would have liked to have stayed longer! It is a very nice house with a vintage style, full of collectible details (decoration, accessories, etc.) and many rooms, each with a lot of personality. The environment is very nice and quiet, next to the forest. A deer even appeared and sat in the beautiful backyard garden. Its location is perfect if you also want to get to know the surroundings of Stockholm as it is 15 minutes by car or public transport, which is very close to the house (metro and train).

Incredibly nice house, and perfect for larger groups! The spa area, jacuzzi and pool were the icing on the cake!

Lars was a great host. Very responsive and helped with local recommendations. Would highly recommend booking this place.

We had 2 very nice days and nights in the cottage. Our little girl had so much fun at the pool and was so happy she could use the toys of the family! The airbnb is equipped with everything we needed. It is close to the water and there is a nice beach and playground closeby. It was very relaxing and the hosts were very nice and always available when we had questions.

We felt welcome and at home in Spersbodahusen, nice days with hot baths, excursions, reading and game nights. Dark and rough in December but cozy with crackling fire in the evenings. The water in the tap is checked and quite ok but does not taste like in town, so a tip is to bring bottled water to drink if you are a little picky. Hans was very helpful, questions were answered quickly and kindly with great tips. We went to atmospheric Wira Bruk and had homemade food. We would be glad to come back!

Frida and Johan were incredibly helpful hosts and the accommodation was amazing. Set amongst beautiful scenery and a lake it was the perfect place to relax with my friends

We had a lovely stay at Roberts and Sandra house. Everything we need was there. Great transport links in and out of Stockholm. Highly recommend.

A peaceful and beautiful place - we stayed for five nights and used the sauna and hot tub on a daily basis. The Baltic sea is only a few minute's walk away. Since the sauna is in a separate house, you have lots of space in the actual accommodation. Stockholm is less than an hour away - we used our rental car to get from the premises to our POIs. The hosts are super responsive and helpful. We recommend this place and would come back 👌🏼

Our family of six loved the house! It’s a great location; quiet and tranquil. The amenities were plentiful. Rooms and beds were very comfortable. I highly recommended this house!

I enjoyed staying at Anna's guest house for a short time. It's located in a calm and peaceful neighborhood, which is so nice if you like quiet and privacy! 🥰 It's just a short walk to the store - 10 min or less - and not a long walk to the bus either! It is very clean and comfortable, and even has a washing machine, which is great if you don't pack too many clothes, like I usually do when traveling. I recommend staying here if you like to come home to calm when you travel!

We had a great girls trip at Jacueline’s cottage! Gorgeous surroundings, which made a perfect escape from the city for a few days. Jacueline was very communicative, checking in to make sure we settled in well and were enjoying our stay. Definitely recommend!

I loved my stay at this studio. It was very spacious, light and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. The studio is on the fourth floor and can be reached by a small lift or the stairs. If you are arriving by metro from the Cityterminal make sure you follow the signs for the Odenplan exit (or it's a long walk at street level) There were local coffee shops and bars nearby. The nearest supermarkets seemed to be down Odengatan. I would definitely recommend this accommodation for a visit to Stockholm.

We had a wonderful stay at Lina's house. It was in a perfect location close to transport in a quiet neighbourhood. We had a small issue with the washing machine on day 1 but Lina was extremely responsive and we had no problems accessing the communal laundry for the rest of our stay. Lina made us feel at home for the 6 nights we stayed and went above and beyond to help make our first visit to Stockholm one to remember. Thanks so much Lina 😀

We had a lovely stay in Stockholm! Perfect place for us. We were able to relax and be in the heart of the city. The apartment is very trendy and had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely gorgeous and spacious apartment that was perfect for my family. It was well decorated, and had everything we needed. Amazing views as well, and the small garden in the building was lovely. The location was close to several museums, parks, and public transportation. Easy check in, and Mathias was quick to respond. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Thomas’ place. The house was beautiful, well located and had great amenities. We loved the tranquil setting, with only a short walk to the metro to take us straight to Stockholm centre. Thomas was extremely accommodating and we felt completely at home. Would absolutely recommend!
