Vacation rentals with a fire pit in St.Mary's Bay

Great host, great house, great location! This is a very private house that is not far from town, only 20 minutes from the ferry. The house is clean, well appointed and spacious. It’s right on the water which gives hours of enjoyable relaxing both day and night. Speaking of night, you haven’t seen a night sky like this, it’s really amazing! This home was the perfect temporary home base for me and my family as we explored southern Nova Scotia. The host is excellent at communicating clearly. My family of 4 was more than comfortable during our stay here. We’d definitely stay again! Thank you for a great stay!

We had a struggle with the mortgage company for a home that had purchased near Yarmouth, but this made the hassles easier to deal with and it was a great location to get out and meet our new neighbors

The Cottage House was the perfect retreat for our family of 4. The spot is amazing. Can’t beat the views. We enjoyed sunsets over the Bay of Fundy from the hot tub and under the watchful eye of a giant Osprey one evening. The house itself was squeaky clean and beautiful. The master bedroom was spectacular with a perfect view from almost every spot in the house. Beds were very comfy! And the open kitchen with ocean views made cooking a dream. Kit is a very friendly and responsive host. We will definitely be going back because as much as we love to find new places for our annual trip, hard to imagine we’ll find a nicer place than the Cottage House.

We were in the area visiting family and friends. The cottage was on a beautiful waterfront. The bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious with games to play, netflix etc. We found everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. The house was clean and a beautiful place to stay. Just a ferry ride away to brier island, we visited pond cove (beach), western light has a breathtaking sunset, nothern light has nice walking trails and we had drinks and a delicious meal at Chetwick's !!

We two [married (to each other !) since 1968 ] 78-ers thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable 9 -day stay in mid-September at Doug's and Gail's charming rental home in Lubec. All 9 days were sunny! We wouldn't hesitate to return. Our favorite restaurant for lunch /dinner is Fisherman's Wharf and the fish and chips at HD & Sons Seafood comes highly recommended. We had tasty lunch twice at the Breakwater Cafe downtown on Water St. You may find Monica's Chocolates a fun stop. We scored a generous, delish batch of blueberry muffins from Gail for our stay of more than a week. Thank you, Gail! The Keurig and big supply of Arabica pods was a giant winner with our habitual coffee drinker.

Another great stay at one of our favourite spots that feels like home away from home. We love watching the sunrise over the salt marsh in the morning and watching the sunset over the beach in the evening. We had a mini snow storm on our first night but the shanty is super cozy and we felt very snug. We keep coming back to this place because it is truly paradise!

Andrea was easy to communicate with, accommodating and pleasant. Walking distant to beautiful Mavillette Beach. Neighbors were friendly and welcoming.

I wanted to express my gratitude for allowing my family to stay at your beautiful property. It was an ideal choice for our holiday getaway from the city, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property's remote location allowed my six year old son to see many stars, a rare sight for him. We were also impressed by the spectacular ocean view, which was accessible from the comfort of our living room. As a family with an autistic child, we were concerned about whether the property would meet our son's needs, but he had a wonderful time and is already missing the place. We would also like to commend you on the accuracy of your property's description, which matched our expectations. Thank you for providing a wonderful space for us to relax and create memories together. We would highly recommend your property to others and look forward to the possibility of staying with you again in the future.

Beautiful location, absolutely stunning and peaceful. The host has instructions clearly laid out with multiple great recommendations. We didn’t bring our dogs but they are very well prepared for your furry companion with a nice fenced in yard, lots of outside toys and even a bed for them to rest in when the fun is over.

Oh my God, what an awesome amenity-filled apartment! While we were only in Saint Andrews for one night, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found Roseann and John to be attentive, excellent hosts. They thought of everything. We will be back!!!

Beautiful spot and wonderful hosts! I can’t recommend this spot enough as the location, though not right downtown, is only a couple blocks away and is very walkable to the local restaurants and shops. The carriage house itself is beautifully renovated and has everything you need, including a nice outside area if the weather is nice. Jackie was very responsive and got back to me when I had questions within minutes. Why anyone would stay in a hotel when this gem is an option baffles me. Highly recommend!

Our stay was amazing! It was relaxing, peaceful and everything we hoped for. My husband enjoyed the hot tub and my dog loved running around the yard. We went to Gleason’s Cove for a sunrise one morning. We highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay we had at this cozy cabin. We were impressed by all the thoughtful details including a towel warmer, treats for the dogs, a variety of crocs to wear to the hot tub or lake, and everything we needed to cook Easter dinner including a roast pan! The hot tub was lovely and the bbq was top of the line. Our hosts couldn’t have been more accommodating. This is a lovely set up for a relaxing getaway. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful, private cabin with an incredible oceanfront location. Secluded, peaceful, rustic, tastefully decorated. This is a unique place to get away from it all. Gio and Gia have built something really special here.

What a jewel their cottage is, and exactly as described. The cottage was immaculate and everything you need is there and then some. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished we had longer to visit. We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone wanting to explore the area, while enjoying a nice relaxing place to stay on a lovely lake. Loved the kayaking as well.

The perfect place to stay for peace and quiet. You are just far off the beaten path for some rest and relaxation but still close enough where the South shore attractions are just a drive away. The hosts will answer any question you have with a rapid response. Our two labs loved the property and Cailean Rae and Kate made a personalized gift basket for us and the pups. Can't recommend them enough.

Another successful stay at Keith's place. we were visiting family for Thanksgiving and Keith was very accommodating and provided heaters for the chilly weekend weather. Always great to stay at this spot!

We were very glad we decided to choose this cabin for our weekend getaway. It had all of the basics we needed for making our meals during our stay; the bed was very comfortable; the cabin was very clean and the hot tub was the perfect bonus. We would not hesitate to come back here again in the future.
