Staniel Cay vacation rentals

This was a fantastic vacation spot! I have stayed in many Airbnb rentals, some have been good, some not so much. This place was amazing. The perfect retreat away city life and on to beach / island time. The house was super cute, very clean, comfortable, great beds, everything you would need in the kitchen, an outdoor and indoor shower, a book telling where to go on the island, great A/C and best of all you walk out the front door to the most amazing beach. While it is a public beach I never saw anyone else so it felt like a private beach. Natajia had someone pick me up at the airport and take me to the house, super easy and relaxed. This would be a great honeymoon spot or perfect vacation rental and the price is well worth it. I will definitely be looking to come back, hoping it will be available!

This was our second stay at Queen of Harts, and it is the perfect spot. We love the privacy and proximity to the water! Great place for a lowkey relaxing island getaway!

Loved this place!!! So quiet and peaceful. The beach out front felt like our own private beach. There were two sea turtles that we seen everyday. We went snorkeling out in the sandy area and found several sand dollars. It’s a bit away from the hustle and bustle and food, but we prefer quiet and cooked most our meals. The highway to place is paved nicely except for a small area which still needs paved, but was a way better road than the road down south going to Tropic of Cancer. The dirt road to get to the Airbnb is a little rough, but we just went slow with the car we rented and it did fine. The outdoor Bluetooth speakers she recently installed were a big hit. Would highly recommend this place and we hope to stay again sometime!

Joan and Keva were fantastic hosts. Their home was perfect for two couples for 5 nights (two separate bedrooms and bathrooms). They were very helpful when we had questions and dealing with any hiccups (one of the bedroom AC units was broken so instead of waiting several days for the required part Joan had it replaced immediately for comfortable sleeping). We arranged a suitable rental car through them also. There is a washer and dryer which work perfectly and laundry soap and dryer sheets were supplied (bonus!). We were able to check in early which was perfect because we arrived from Nassau at 8:30 am. There is a beach that can be walked to (Coco plum beach) but a rental car is recommended. There is wifi but it is a bit inconsistent (apparently the local area has the same problem). We recommended this property for a quiet and beautiful location for a sunny vacation.

This rental was just as described, in addition, the host went above and beyond to be accommodating!!! We actually had reserved a boat for rent for a few days, however the rental fell through and the host kindly found us a new person to rent from, which totally saved our entire trip!!! Our airbnb was beautiful and very refreshing after a long day. I would definitely highly recommend this airbnb!!!

James was responsive to questions. He was pleasant and flexible with an early arrival. The space was very clean and larger than expected with excellent amenities for a longer stay. Staniel Cay is a wonderful laid back location with many fun things to do, gorgeous beaches, and tasty food. James made visiting easy, fun, and carefree.

We had a magical vacation in Black Point. The island is picturesque, featuring plenty of beautiful beaches. Renting a golf cart is highly recommended, and you can easily get one from Ida and Terren. They also provided us with some essential supplies, which we greatly appreciated since options are limited on the island. You have your own private beach, which is incredibly peaceful. We felt safe the entire time, and the locals were very friendly. While there are a few restaurants on the island offering good food with a decent variety, it’s worth noting that if you’re looking for great snorkeling, this may not be the best destination for you. However, if you seek tranquility and private beaches, this is the perfect spot, and Ida and Terren make wonderful hosts!

Amazing experience! Home was very clean and had everything we needed. Walking distance to almost everything on island and if you need a ride everyone was very accommodating. If you want an authentic Bahamian island experience this is the place! We would love to come back because of our experience.

We had the most wonderful time and experience! We enjoyed our excursion with DJ and walking in the bay and on the beach. Recommend getting a golf cart while there to explore and get to the restaurants. Ida has them available. They were so responsive, as we had lots of questions. They picked us up and took us to the airport, which was wonderful and Ida showed us around the island before taking us to our cottage. Beautiful views of the bay off the back of the house and of the beach from the front porch. We would love to go back. So peaceful and perfect! Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! The place was very clean, great views, and very conveniently situated to everything Black Point has to offer. Ida was a wonderful host. 5 Stars!

Lovely beach cottage with direct ocean access. Well appointed with beach towels, outdoor furniture and kitchen ware. A great place to relax and enjoy the lovely view. Very private and away from the crowds. Need a rental car and the road to the cottage is in great condition (apart from a one short section). For a good selection of groceries, it is best to stop in George Town.

Le logement était vraiment très propre, pour moi qui suis très exigeante c’était vraiment extra ! Nous avons été accueillis à l’aéroport et le logement était prêt à notre arrivée qui était bien plus matinale qu’annoncée sur l’heure du Check in. Le cottage donne sur une crique absolument fabuleuse, une terrace avec une vue splendide. Dans ce cottage, vous êtes au paradis ! Je n’ai qu’une envie, revenir ! De plus, Terrence nous a emmené en excursion bateau pour une journée et ce fut magique ! Tout était vraiment exceptionnel !

We loved staying at Sanddollar Cottage in the Bahamas; it exceeded all our expectations. Terren picked us up at the airport as soon as we arrived and took us to our cottage, which was very charming and cozy, with plenty of natural light and surrounded by turquoise views. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you might need, perfect for preparing meals to enjoy on the deck overlooking the beach. Ida and Terren also rented us a boat and a golf kart; we rented the boat for two days, and one day, we had Terren as our guide, who took us to see the iguanas, swim with the nurse sharks at Compass Cay, Rachel's Bubble Bath, snorkeling at Thunderball grotto (great experience) and snorkeling at a plane wreck. At the end of the tour, we stopped at the Staniel Cay Yacht Club for a tasty lunch. Ida and Terren were great hosts, very responsive and friendly; the boat and golf kart worked perfectly, we loved everything, and we are going to come back! Thank you, Ida and Terren!

I love the air bnb, the place was amazing it was worth every penny. I had no complaints about anything in the building everything was on point no issues nothing. I would love to stay there again in the future. Love it there.

Le logement est très bien situé (10 minutes de marche de la plage et 5 minutes des restaurants). L’hôtesse est d’une extrême gentillesse et toujours prête à rendre service ou à donner des conseils. Le logement est plus grand qu’il n’y paraît sur les photos. Merci à Nancy et son frère pour l’excursion en bateau. Je recommande sans hésiter!

Natalia and everyone at the Flying Pig were very friendly and helpful . Loved the pool after a long day on the boat and our room was very comfortable and clean . What a beautiful spot ! Thank you . Hope to be back .
