We had accurate communication so found the cottage. Lynne was there to welcome us and explain how things worked. The location was perfect for us as we were walking in the area and the accommodation allowed for younger members of our family to join us over the weekend.

The Annex

NileshRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A wonderful stay even better than expected! Such a lovely place in a beautiful setting the perfect countryside escape. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the Annex had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away. My two children absolutely loved it and are now dreaming of living on a farm! The thoughtful touches like cereal, milk, and coffee waiting for us on arrival really made it feel like a home away from home. Looking forward to returning soon if this little gem is still available!

Fernyford Barn in the Peak District

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Fernyford Barn is the perfect base for a holiday in the Peak District. There are so many things to do and places to visit just a short drive away. The barn is very comfortable, nicely decorated and perfect for families. We loved stocking up on food from the local shops and meat from the farm itself and cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. Neil and his family were friendly and welcoming hosts and our little ones loved meeting the sheep and exploring the farm. We’d love to return.

We had a lovely stay here with friends. We visited a local dog friendly restaurant (The Talbot), recommended in the welcome pack, which was only 8 minutes drive and was lovely food. The property was clean with fresh bedding and towels and all of the basic essentials. And Michelle was very accommodating and even gave us a tour of their family run farm and their lovely animals. 100% recommend!

The Cosy Stable -Peak District National Park

SallyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Annette, Alex & Skye were fantastic Airbnb hosts. Welcoming and friendly but also conscious of ensuring you have your own privacy. A huge bonus was that the parish has an enclosed park space only a short few mins walk away which is perfect for your pet to explore and burn off some energy. A short walk to Pipstrells Cafe for a lovely morning coffee/cake and 7 minute drive to The Black Lion in Butterton for a tasty meal. Lots of walks on the doorstep as well as a lovely private patio area to ensure you relax and enjoy the scenery. Would highly recommend The Cosy Stable! We would love to return in the near future.

The Long View Shepherd's Hut

NancyRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a wonderful time at Adbaston Escapes, Dilys cannot to enough for you, she is friendly and kind. The hut was immaculate and had a quaint relaxed interior with high quality linens and towels. The bed is comfortable and you can’t believe how much space there is inside the hut. The surroundings are idyllic from the early morning bird song, the cheeky pheasant and the spectacular views. We didn’t get chance to walk around the lake as the weather was exceptionally hot, but the Swedish tub was a welcome relief, especially in the evening when the sun his gone down and we could relax in the warm water under the stars. We look forward to returning to Adbaston and would highly recommend this place to stay.

We had a wonderful long weekend at this property. Directions were easy to follow, and check in was easy. The barn is beautiful- spotlessly clean, well laid out, uncluttered but had everything we needed for the weekend. The location is stunning- an easy walk to Rudyard Lake, woodland walks and the perfect view of the cows in the field just outside the door. I would happily rebook, and would love to stay again. Thank you for having us x

The Milking Parlour, 1 bedroom luxury cottage

SarahRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Milking Parlour was a lovely cottage in a peaceful location with fantastic views out over the dales. There were some nice walks direct from the door and loads of other great walks with a 5-10 minute drive such as the Monsal Trail. Julia was always available if needed to ask a question but otherwise left us to it so it was a lovely private space. The facilities were excellent - we loved having a game of table tennis and pool in the evening and enjoyed watching the sunset from “sunset corner” in the farm. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it to friends and family.
