This humble abode was built in 1908 and remodeled in 2023. It sits one block off Main Street with activities within walking distance directly out your front door! Some amenities include an L-shaped couch, 2 bathrooms (one with a corner shower, the other with soaking tub), 3 bedrooms (2 of them with Queen size beds and Roku TV), one with a twin bed and cot, in home office with free Wi-Fi internet and washer/dryer and more. . Country setting, close to the Lake Superior hiking trail, cross country ski trails and the state snowmobile trail. 10 minutes to the shores of Lake Superior, 20 minutes to Duluth or 15 minutes to Two Harbors with activities for all ages. You are welcome to enjoy our deck , the fire pit or wander the yard, while you sipping your favorite beverage. Your room has a flatscreen TV and there is high speed internet access. Cell phone service is available thru the WiFi.

Spacious vacation space!

Come enjoy our vacation rental! We're in a great neighborhood - close to Duluth's Spirit Mountain skiing & biking, the retail district, and lots of things to do and see! The apartment has a large living room, huge deck, full kitchen, full bath, and two separate bedrooms. This is the upper unit in the building. As such, this isn't an appropriate space for anyone with little kids that run around - as it would detract from the experience for the guests below.

Sleeps 14 adults (plus a bassinet/crib for little ones) with exterior barrel sauna, A/C, attached garage, fully stocked kitchen, Roku TV/XBox 360, workstation, children's toys, a back deck with large yard, and paved trails. Located near Canal Park, Billings Park Boat Ramp (Lake Superior), Spirit Mountain, the DECC, many hiking/biking trails, and so much more. Happy times ahead!

Lake Superior Room & light breakfast

Economy room at an economy price! Stay in our cozy room with a bath (shared with one other guest room) while in Duluth. A small fridge is in the room for your use; you are also welcome to access the kitchen for microwave, ice & water. Additional kitchen use is available upon request Wi-Fi, Netflix & Hulu are available for guests in our shared living room. Cats do live in this house. Please do not book this space if you have any issues with pets.

Lake-living at Walden Haus (4 bedroom/3 bath) accommodating up to 12 guests is the perfect vacation spot with year-round activities at your doorstep and the comforts of home. This pet-friendly, pancake breakfast included, up-north cabin is located on Wynne Lake and across the road from the ski hill. Take in all that the Giants Ridge Recreational Area and the Arrowhead region have to offer.
