Vacation rentals with breakfast in St. Gallen

The place was truly amazing! We needed somewhere to stay on our way through Switzerland and booked last minute. The place and the host’s hospitality exceeded our expectations. We felt very welcomed and were served an amazing breakfast in the morning. Everything was just as described and spotlessly clean. i was traveling for work and stayed a few days. I was very warmly received by the hosts. Completely problem-free check-in and I found a very pleasant atmosphere. Gladly come back.

Great hosts, very friendly and kind. Great breaktfast for a reasonable price. Cozy private room with own bath, where privacy is equivalent to a hotel.

What a gem of place. Very original Swiss farmhouse. Breathtaking countryside with beautiful hiking paths. The house is quite original and quite romantic. The owner, Gabi, is an absolutely lovely, open and creative person—as original as her house! We loved our stay—Thank you so much!

I felt at home and cozy. The room is large and comfy. The garden is beautiful. And the family is fun and friendly. So is the dog Chipsy. The neighborhood is peaceful. The train station is close by and the whole town is walkable. It's also perfect for an extended stay and trips to the mountains (about 1 hour away) and to the Bodensee (about 30 minutes away).

Very quiet, extremely clean, beautiful place, fantastic hosts. I felt like at the house of a dear and close relative or friend.

We were received in a very friendly manner by Elisabeth and Andreas. On the occasion of the Schwägalpschwingfest, we had booked the two rooms with a bathroom for two nights. On Sunday at 6:30 am Elisabeth even served us coffee and homemade, fresh Weggli. The couple gave us helpful information regarding the shuttle bus. On the day of departure, we were allowed to enjoy a great breakfast. Elisabeth had baked fresh bread early in the morning, what a service. We felt very comfortable and welcome. Simon and Sabrina are very attentive, yet unobtrusive hosts. You immediately feel comfortable. Super nice place to stay, furnished with a lot of heart. I really appreciated and enjoyed the wonderful surroundings and the proximity to St. Gallen. I look forward to another time. Thank you both!

The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful and all the facilities are nearby and the shepherd of the apartment is generous and friendly and very very kind, he asked me if he needed a rug for praying 💙thanks hermann !

Mega great ambience, very friendly landlord just great - Bruno even provided us with a torch for great light in the garden! It was only very warm in the room - but we also have high summer ☀️

The room is cozy and spacious, the location in Trimmis ideal for exploring the greater Chur area. Sonja is an extremely warm host who surprised me with a good breakfast. I would have liked to stay longer and would stay with Sonja again anytime.

The sweetest lady we have ever experienced. Extremely warm and welcoming. You didn't feel like you were in someone else's home that also lived there. More than enough privacy and a great base for a transit or, in our case, sleeping place between the activities.

Everything was fine.. I wish such an honest and humane host for every person looking for a place to stay.

this B&B impresses with attention to detail. The homemade baked goods for breakfast (!), the wide range of homemade marmalades and the various fresh products such as cheese and the meat and sausages from the Glarnerland are outstanding. Even the roasted coffee comes from the area. Susanna was a warm hostess and I would like to recommend this nice B&B! Also the price/performance ratio is great.

Anita and Werner are great hosts. They welcomed me personally and explained everything to me right away. The place is as large and spacious as in the pictures, very bright through the many windows and well heated. The location is extremely quiet and with great views. The bathroom is also large and clean with a bathtub, shower, 2 sinks and toilet. And the highlight was breakfast in the morning... delicious homemade bread with many varieties of cheese, jam and a breakfast egg from happy chickens. And the best of all were Anita and Werner themselves. We talked so well about God and the world at breakfast, time always flew by. The two are nice, warm, communicative and also give valuable tips on the surroundings... I felt well taken care of and like a longtime friend. If I come back to the area, this place is my first choice.

Very lovely stay. The home is in a great central location for hiking, 5 minutes walk to Appenzell train station which will take you to many starting points. The room is very comfortable and Claudia provides everything you need. Having breakfast provided is a great touch, and the dogs are very friendly as well!

I arrived really late in the evening and they were very kind to send me a video of the building entrance, how to find my room and the location of all the shared amenities (shower, dining room, etc). (Of course I don't know if it is always possible to check in at such a late time as I did). The breakfast was also good!

Hildegard offered us a place to stay very spontaneously and even surprised us with a dinner. From the first to the last moment of the stay, Hildegard has done everything to make you feel comfortable.... There was nothing missing. Very nice old house with special atmosphere, above the lively Rhine Valley you will find welcome peace here. We'll be happy to come back. Best regards :-)
