Very nice, peaceful place in the countryside. Loved going for runs among the rice paddies with views of Mount Merapi. A little oasis outside of Jogja. Loved the architecture of wood and brick; rustic, but not run down. The service from the caretaker was excellent. He was always responsive when we needed anything, helpful with our luggage & opening the gate. The smell from the moth balls could be overwhelming. There are two mosques that are very close, but everything can't be perfect. Location convenient for going into town or north to Borobudur or other countryside attractions.

Happy banget stay di tempat Pak Hery, Pertama kali datang langsung amazed dengan suasana jawa yang warm. Rumah nDalem Ha We sangat bersih, tertata, dan asri karena banyak tanaman di luar rumah, peralatan mandi dan kitchen super lengkap. Dan kami terbantu sekali dengan bantuan Pak Hery serta Ibu yang provide request kami untuk sarapan. Lokasi strategis, dekat dengan area wisata, kami happy banget. We had a fantastic stay at Maarten’s villa. The location, situated nearly 700 meters above sea level, offers a refreshing natural atmosphere and easy access to popular attractions in Kaliurang. It’s also conveniently located along the Kaliurang jeep tour route, making it an excellent choice for travelers looking to explore the area. The staff at the property were exceptionally friendly and helpful, ensuring we had a comfortable stay. The cool mountain air was especially enjoyable, particularly when it rained. However, during hot weather, the rooms on the second floor felt quite warm as the villa is not equipped with air conditioning. Despite this, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the villa and would love to return in the future. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful and scenic retreat!

Memorable Staycation at Nirwana Kaliurang Merapi Gateway The location is quite strategic, just about a 10-minute drive to the Tlogoputri Kaliurang area. The villa is spacious, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was clean and well-equipped with various amenities. The kitchenware and dining utensils were also complete. Definitely great value for money and very affordable. The host was very responsive and helpful whenever we needed assistance. Keep up the great work!

An extremely great villa, with peaceful garden, flowing rivers and waterfalls view. There are two great houses in the villa, both of them are warm and with local features. You can enjoy great time in this villa, doing yoga on the platform beside the river, setting on the sofa inside the yard, and partying with friends in the cozy living room. It is a beautiful, peaceful and mindful stay. The housekeepers are warm to welcome us. It is an unforgettable experience for the accommodation with Winda’s house and it can become the reason for next time visit to Yogyakarta again in the future.

Such a great stay! The villa was super clean, peaceful, and beautifully designed. Loved the private pool with the green view, so relaxing and refreshing. Definitely a perfect escape from the city!

I met Ms Lucia & her son Theo ... They are so kind, nice & friendly 💖 ... Ms Lucia explained about the preserved traditional wood villas while we're walking around in her beautiful garden ... yes, I can see that she is really love reading & gardening 🥰 It's a great escape ... feel restful, peace and grateful to GOD 🙏 Thanks to Ms Lucia, Theo for your kindness & sharing this beautiful place with us 🥰 Thanks to all staff who helped and served great & tasty breakfast 😋
