Had a fantastic 4 night stay. The house is truly amazing with beautiful views, so peaceful! Kasi's instructions on finding the house were great and we were met upon arrival and shown around. Kasi is right about the drive in, it's not for the faint hearted but a great experience! Would highly recommend......

Amazing place! Glenn is so helpful, from providing local tips, to proactively rigging up the small sail boat for our use. Nicely decorated and has a large hot tub right on the deck - beautiful view of the harbour. Fantastic hike from Egmont to Skookumchuck rapids - what a view. Two lakes en route for a dip after the hike. With Glenn’s advice, we were able to catch salmon almost right in front of the place.

We had a great stay! We will try to come back. It was such a beautiful spot.

We had a wonderful stay. We really felt at home. The cabin was very cosy, with all the equipment needed, especially in the kitchen to have have home cooked meals. The view was incredible! You are right by the lake and it is very quiet and peaceful. Ben and Jess were extremely helpful, always sending us clear instructions and answering all of our questions. We recommend this place.

Great stay!! Our hosts were super proactive to provide info we needed before we checked in or out, and very responsive from beginning to end. Inside the unit itself is quite nice -- not in a fancy way, but you can tell a lot of thought went into equipping and furnishing it -- even down to a rubber mat that was very useful for collecting melting snow off our skis/snowboard/boots. A word of caution to share with prospective guests is that sound travels a little too well to/from other rooms, and I don't know that much can be done about that. But for a week-long trip to Whistler Blackcomb, this place was just what we needed, and I would gladly stay here again!

A perfect 3-night retreat from our stresses: peaceful, private, beautiful views, comfortable, spacious, wonderfully appointed and feeling welcome. Many places to explore within 10 minutes alone. As enthusiastic cooks, our meals were prepped in the efficient kitchenette, cooked on the BBQ and enjoyed on the patio with views! For special meals, we highly recommend Lighthouse Pub (aka Buchaneer resto) with its excellent food and prices and view of Sechelt Inlet.

Words cannot describe the view that welcomes you each morning at this incredible home! We booked it because of the first picture, and to be honest…it’s amazing, but it doesn’t even do it justice. We loved exploring the local sea ports, hiking to the Skookumchuck Narrows, doing a salmon fishing charter with Ed and Brian with Angler Management, and more! We saw bears, elk, deer, and the only thing that eluded us was the orcas. Maybe next time! The cottage was perfect for the 2 of us and again the view from the bedroom is unbeatable. Finally, we must say that Gary and Sheila are two of the kindest people we’ve met. They took good care of us and gave us both the space we needed and personal touches to make our stay memorable. Give yourself plenty of time for the ferries and reserve your times beforehand. Eat at Smitty’s, take pictures of the purple starfish at low tide, and book this place today!

The place was beautiful! Very spacious, we had lots of room for everyone. Having the beach so close was so amazing, my kids loved playing in the sand. The deck overlooking the property was breathtaking, especially with a morning coffee. Host had everything laid out nicely with lots of possible activities.

Maria’s place was wonderful. The outdoor deck and sauna were such perfect features to enjoy the outdoors. Maria was quick to reply to me when I inquired about laundry which is available on the property. There were other tiny homes on the property but the cabin is still a very private space. The bed is comfortable and is in a lofted space accessible by a sturdy ladder. This was a fantastic find and a great space to rest and relax in between hikes and exploring the surrounding areas.

Stephen and Ivan’s place was a peaceful and relaxing place to stay while just being a quick drive away from local restaurants and shops if you wanted to go out. The hot tub was a nice way to end our day after walking through smugglers cove. Would stay here again!

The chalet was stunning, set against breathtaking mountain and lake views. The heating was spot-on for late December. Everything was perfect, though the cleanliness could have been a bit better. However, it didn’t impact our experience, which was otherwise flawless. I will definitely suggest this to anyone and will hopefully travel again in future.

Gill and Sue are fantastic hosts, they are very friendly, responsive, helpful and proactive in their communication. Their cabin is just fantastic and located within a beautiful area, literallyon the beach front. "Sleeping under the stars" was a very apecial treat. When we can, we will definately be back. Beautiful home and peaceful surroundings overlooking the Sechelt Inlet. Trampoline with a view was perfect for the kids. Cool art and sculptures throughout the house. Very spacious home for our group of 6 adults and 4 children. Super clean and good quality and towels and linens provided. Fire pit area very nice. Convenient location less than 10 mins drive to grocery store. Host (Jamie) was super responsive and helpful! I left a jacket and she is going above and beyond to get it back to me. Hope to stay there again!

The Sunshine Coast Waterfront Rental was the perfect spot for our multigenerational family vacation. Located on the serene Lamb Bay along the Sechelt Inlet, the home offered us 180 degree waterfront views. A highlight for all of us were spotting seals diving into the water, hawks soaring overhead and small crabs crawling through the sand. Everyone enjoyed swimming in the crystal clear water. When the tide was out and there was a breeze, the beach was a perfect place for kite flying. The two decks and beachfront offered many places to relax outside while the spacious living and dining rooms offered a generous amount of living space for everyone in the family. The beds were all very comfortable and the three full bathrooms were perfect for our group. The large kitchen was very well equipped. Devi and Phil were perfect hosts, providing us with lots of information about their home and the area in advance and upon our arrival. We all felt truly welcomed to this oasis!

I have to say that this was probably the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. We swam in the rain, hiked, read, did puzzles, and painted. We cooked together and made the best of the rain. The neighbors didn't seem to be around, so we had this little slice of paradise all to ourselves. The place isdogs friendly, which is a huge plus. I loved the old stove, and we even had our first crayfish. There were lots of huckleberries to pick, so we made huckleberry pancakes. I would recommend this place 100%. We hope to come back for my son's and my birthday in September.
