Hosts Caroline and Richard are special people. They have created, through their own hard work, a special place. They are welcoming, warm, outgoing, helpful, authentic Newfoundlanders. Their home on the cove provided great views of birds and fishermen from the dining room table. We sat down with them and shared our lives and theirs and stories of the local community and ways of life. They offer their guests instant friendship. Richard’s creation, “Newfie Benes,” for breakfast were terrific and fueled us for the day. Caroline went out of her way to see we had all we needed. We are not young, but they helped us to keep the old man and woman out (when you go there, ask them how that is done). . We have traveled from the USA to Newfoundland four times and thought we knew the people here well. Thanks to Caroline and Richard and their big hearts, we know these fine folks better. We hated to leave, but memories of our stay are going with us. Thanks to both of them.

Wow. What a fantastic stay we just had at Nancys Nest! We booked spontaneously for easter weekend - Nancy was VERY responsive. When we arrived we were appalled with the view, cleanliness, & everything we would need for the weekend being THERE. We watched an eagles nest & 2 adult eagles all weekend, we are in AWE! & we can not wait to get back!😊

Loretta and the bnb were both lovely! She met us at the door to welcome us and show us all we needed to know about our accommodations. It was Valentine’s Day weekend and Loretta had a valentine flair all over, including heart shaped pillows with chocolate on our pillows, fresh roses and even valentine cupcakes in the refrigerator! It was super clean and bright! A gorgeous oceanview from almost every window. It was quiet, comfortable and cozy-exactly what we were looking for!

Beautiful home in a peaceful friendly neighborhood. The house is exactly as described and we felt very much at home. The house was equipped with everything we needed for our perfect stay. This was our second time staying at Maria’s home and hopefully will get the chance to stay there again.

It was a great stay! Very clean! Bathroom newly renovated and prestine. Had the kitchen well stocked with appliances and necessities. Coffee options were a nice bonus! Host was very quIck to respond. Would def recommend this place.

Great spot to stay! Clean, comfortable, and well stocked with everything you will need. Jackie was a great host and messaged with instructions quickly. Great attention to detail, there was even snacks and water provided. Will certainly stay again if we are in the area.

The house was clean and tidy, lots towels and extra blankets, tons of space in the living room for 6 of us. Small kitchen area but had everything we needed for preparing the meals we brought. The beds were okay, two main floor bedrooms had a double bed each and the office space had a futon that opened up. The basement bedroom had 1 double bed.

Wonderful home away from home. Located close to the main shopping and restaurant areas, but far enough to not be a part of that hustle and bustle. The home was very clean and welcoming. Very clear instructions for working the electronics, which is always appreciated. The furnishings were comfortable and plenty other amenities wwre supplied to ensure the stay was hassle free. We very much enjoyed our stay here and will look to book again when we travel to GFW.

Bev was always checking up on us and was so nice and helpful. We went Easter Weekend so everything was closed but she still offered us help would we need something from a store. When we needed to get back, there was a winter storm that hit Brent’s cove. We could not leave but Bev said we could stay until it was safe to drive and she kept in touch with us to let us know when it would be safe to leave. The cabin was very well equipped and so peaceful. 10/10 recommend visiting Brent’s cove and booking with them!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this large beautiful home. It had everything we needed, plus more. The age of the home and all of the vintage character added to the experience! The host was pleasant and helpful. I would love to stay here again!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cozy, clean home. There was more living space than we expected. The beds were super comfortable and the view was lovely. We visited in winter but I can imagine how beautiful it is when the huge trees are full of leaves :) Life slows down in Botwood - so relaxing. Thanks Erin!

Had a perfect stay! The house was even nicer than in the pictures -- clean and bright but also cozy and comfortable. All sorts of helpful amenities, everything you could think of was provided. And the view of the river and bridge was beautiful! Highly recommend for anyone staying in the area!
