House vacation rentals in Spotsylvania County

My family and I were very pleased with Eric and his lake house. It was perfect, clean, and very inviting. The home and location matched the pictures; in fact, it was better in person. Everything we wanted to do was there, we only went to the market. Eric was very attentive and when I had a question or a concern- he was quick to follow up and he was a great communicator. He responses were prompt and friendly. This meant everything to me. He did not act like a stranger; he welcomed us into his beautiful home. If I had my way, I'd still be there but work calls. I would highly recommend Eric and his lake house. I'm already talking to my husband about making plans to go back next year around the same time. If you're looking for a home beside the water with kayaks, grills, fire pit, and life jackets and close to beaches and most importantly a host who cares and will be attentive, check out this property and Eric. They both deliver.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful property on Lake Anna. We had 4 young children and 3 adults for our trip. We had plenty of space in the home, and the beach area was perfect for our children to swim. In addition to swimming off the beach, we enjoyed boating, tubing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. It was so nice to have kayaks and paddle boards included on the property. When we weren’t outside we spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch. Evenings were spent down on the dock with a drink watching the sun go down on comfortable chairs. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area as well. We ate at four different restaurants. Had no problem stocking up groceries at Food Lion and grabbing a few things when needed from Dollar General. The surrounding wildlife was big plus. We saw some cool birds and saw deer going across the property at dusk. It was our first trip to Lake Anna but won’t be our last.

The property was exactly as pictured and was great for my family & I. It was conveniently located near our event, shopping, & restaurants. I would recommend it to anyone staying in the Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania area of Virginia. I'd stay here again.

This house is a gem! It’s our second time staying here and my family loves it! We have two adult daughters, a son-in-law and two granddaughters, we love the pool, pool house with pool table and the screened in porch! All of us have our own levels of bedrooms and bathrooms. The place is clean, has the little touches of home and Lois is a dream to work with. It’s on the pricier side but you get what you pay for! We hope to return next summer! I hate writing such a good review because it will only be harder to book in the future!

We had a fantastic stay! The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The host was super friendly and very responsive, making check-in easy and stress-free. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches like example: coffee, extra towels, maps and local recommendations ect. I would absolutely stay here again – highly recommend!

Did a long weekend at Janet’s place with my mom, little brother, older sister and her two young boys. The layout of the house was perfect for us - the way the bedrooms are spread out over the three floors, with a bathroom on each floor worked out so well. Everything was labeled, the kitchen was equipped with everything that we needed, and the location was awesome. The property is on the neighborhood’s smaller lake which means there aren’t any motorized crafts buzzing by, making it a very peaceful spot. Janet is a great communicator, so we knew what to do every step of the way. Great house, great location, great host.

Great quick overnight stay, space was clean and host provided everything needed for our stay.

House, pool area, yard and neighborhood were all lovely! Lots of nice extras like kayaks, outdoor gas fire pit, ping pong, corn hole, kids toys, etc. that made staying in the home enjoyable for the whole family. I only wish I had known more about the lake access near the home prior to booking. While it was easy to launch kayaks close to the house, there was very little space to walk along the lake and really no swimming access.

The house was great! We were able to fit two 19 foot bass boats in the driveway, and could have fit 4 easily. The ramp is in the same neighborhood less than 2 minutes away with ample parking. The house is clean, and back porch is wonderful. This will be our new spot for our yearly tournaments.

It is a beautiful home and wonderful hosts. They made us feel right at home and so respectful and responsive. It is a beautiful peaceful place to stay. We will come back and will recommend this home to others. Thank you for having us.

This is by far one of the most thoughtful and intentional airbnbs we have ever stayed at, and the location truly can’t be beat! Jon & Carrie did such a beautiful job with all the intentional details that made our stay so peaceful and relaxing. From an online welcome guide with all the ins and outs of the house& recommendations in the area, to a scannable QR code explaining how to work the gorgeous shower, everything felt so well thought out. The kitchen was so well stocked which was wonderful for cooking during our stay! We loved being less than a 2 min walk from the lake and enjoyed using the kayaks. :) The house also seems pretty accessible for folks with a physical disability, as there is a ramp leading up to the porch as well as a wide & beautiful shower with a built in, roomy bench. The screened in porch was also so summery, especially with the string lights! We loved our stay here and look forward to coming back :) Thank you, Jon & Carrie for such a beautiful respite!

We loved our stay here! Clean, cozy, great amenities, and loved the direct lake access. Kayaks were a plus! Everything was even better than expected and we would stay again!

We had a great stay with our family. We enjoyed Fun Land, the farmers market, and Wilderness Presidential Resort nearby. our hosts were very responsive and kept the place in great shape. Highly recommended.

I had a big family gathering at my lake house, so we rented this to have extra sleeping space. We have no complaints. It was clean, nice neighborhood, and responsive host. We especially loved the separate private quarters (full apartment) adjacent to the main home where two guests stayed. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay at Lake Anna.

Relaxing, peaceful, convenient, and fun—words that easily describe this amazing place. We had so much fun spending time here as a family, enjoying one another’s company and recharging. Thank you for a great stay! We would gladly return again if we could!

This was the perfect long weekend get away we were looking for. The home is in great condition. The trees offer so much shade it was nice sitting on the deck during the day and for meals. Alfred is an excellent host, checking in while we were there. We enjoyed sitting by the water, relaxing in the hammock and walking the dogs around the neighborhood. Highly recommend for a relaxing get away!

Daniel’s place was beautiful and perfect for our family vacation. The house provided everything we needed for all parties, from the shuffle board, to kayaking, and boat house. The added boat rental option is a must. We had a great time being right on the water.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful—perfect for a girls' weekend getaway! The fire pit and dock created such a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. There were plenty of beds, extra blankets, and towels, which made the stay incredibly comfortable. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the floaties, pool noodles, and life vests at the dock house. The kitchen was impressively organized with every drawer and cabinet labeled, and it was fully stocked with all the spices we could possibly need—cooking meals was a breeze. Everything about this stay was a 10/10. Highly recommend!

House was very clean and had everything for a pleasant stay

This a a wonderful house for big groups. Very comfortable and lots to do. Many water toys for the lake and a variety of games in the house basement. Hot tub, pedal boat, standup paddle, floaters, fire pit, pool table, karaoke machine, video games, one cannot get bored. The house is extremely well equipped with clear instructions all over on how to use all gadgets and amenities. The EV chargers are a great plus. We had a wonderful stay!

I would rate this house a 5 out of 5. The house looked just like the pictures . It was very clean . The host was very responsive, she was great. My family enjoyed the fire place located on the side of the house . There appeared to be a spider issue in the house . We saw a couple and had to kill them. The shower in the basement was very small. Besides that my family and I had a great blended thanksgiving and would definitely rent again . Thank you for everything Angela !!!

Oliver made it so easy to check in and out. The house was spotless and had everything we needed and more. We forgot a toothbrush and coffee pods and home had extra of both. There were plenty of towels and toilet paper and paper towels,etc. and the beds were so comfy. We put the two kayaks in the back of our CRV and just drove slowly the two blocks (at most) to the launch. Lovely area to kayak around. We went to King’s Dominion one day and then to Fredericksburg for a movie and pickleball (the Picklr was great) Otherwise stayed at the house and enjoyed the porch and basketball. The fire pit area was great but unfortunately we weren’t able to use it bc of evening showers. Although, those evening showers enabled us to hang out on the porch without bugs bothering us. Oliver was so receptive to any question we had and always responded quickly. It was the perfect place for 5 adults to come together for a mini family vacation and just relax.

We enjoyed our stay at Tracy's place! Came down to do a triathlon at Lake Anna. Very peaceful area and the house itself was very inviting and comfy. The main bed was a bit hard but that is more to do with my personal taste than anything. Would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at a few places in Lake Anna and this one was perfect for our group of 8. The house is beautiful with a great set up for engaging family time and a well stocked kitchen. The backyard worked well with our Halo collar for our dog and the dog and boating options were perfect for our crew aged 8-68. The neighbors are friendly and there's plenty of shade and sun options to meet everyone's needs. We already booked our trip to come back next year!
