Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Southesk Parish

Connie and Gertrude have a great spot—very peaceful, quiet, and private. It had everything I needed to enjoy my stay. The wood stove was one of my favorite parts; it kept the place warm and comfortable. The personal notes from other guests and the furniture picked by the hosts made it feel welcoming. I also really liked the deck overlooking the river—it was a nice place to relax. If it gets too warm at night, there’s an AC unit upstairs, which is a helpful addition. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

Angela’s house is just as you see it in the pictures. The beach is great and literally in your backyard! The sunsets are incredible. The house is massive with a big kitchen ideal for groups and big families. The house is very well equipped and furnished with a thought for every detail to feel at home. It actually feels like a friends home you would have borrowed, that’s how homey it feels. The only downside like other comments mentioned are the bloody mosquitoes who will eat you alive after 5.00pm. It might have been nice to have a protected outdoor area. Also, if you’re picky with the taste of water, this one tastes a little bit like lake water. We had a great stay at Angela’s and we would all highly recommend the place to friends and family!

This place was absolute perfection. So peaceful and serene. Such a great cozy spot, beautiful views and the spa is a perfect added touch. The pups and us loved every second of our time here. The hosts were very friendly and wonderful to deal with! We’ll certainly be back!

my husband and I loved this place. We stayed for 3 nights, watched 4 salmon caught right in front of the cabin. We loved the privacy, solitude . We will be back.

Wonderful property in Miramichi, absolutely worth it

Place is very clean, has more than everything you need, very cozy and homey stay. Roger was very quick and easy to communicate with, even allowed me to stay an extra night due to some last minute changes on my end, free of charge. Highly recommend! Perfect Location to DownTown:)

It was the perfect weekend! The Knotty Pines was beautiful, peaceful and the scenery was unmatched! The cottage has everything you need to unwind. Kara was extremely helpful with any questions we had and always quick to respond. Perfect host! 10/10 stay. Already planning to book again in the summer! 🥰
