A perfect place to stay between Blantyre & Chileka

Right in between Chileka International Airport (12 minutes) and Blantyre city centre (15 minutes) in close vicinity of Kameza roundabout from where you can depart to the Central and Northern Region. Two bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms and separate entries, lovely garden and cozy lounge. Perfect for both short and long stays. Note that this is Malawi: We have frequent power and water cuts. We mitigate these with our PV and thermal solar system and a 5,000 litre water tank as much as we can.

The CONFORZI LAKE HOUSE & CONFORZI BEACH HOUSE are self-catering lake-shore houses on an amazing property on one of the largest beaches on lake malawi. The property has been in the Conforzi family since 1958. The Beach House (sleeps 12) is so close to the lake that it feels like swimming in it while in the pool. An enormous Banyan tree gives hospitality to many species of birds and refreshing shade. The CONFORZI LAKE HOUSE (sleeps 14) has a new and beautiful infinity pool see other listing.

A beautiful traditional house. High ceilings, a cosy living room, spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms and a large garden with great views of Zomba Mountain. Perfect for holiday or business visits and certainly to celebrate special occasions. We are in Mangasanja, a nice and safe area at a walkable distance from town, with beautiful views. There is an Italian (dinner and take away) around the corner and you have a self catering full kitchen. Beautiful monkeys and birds often visit.

I've stayed at Chinyonga before and will stay again. It's beautiful, low-key and friendly. The pool is awesome after a hot day and a hot walk up the steep hill! (Don't worry, you can get a taxi if you'd rather -- I just like to walk.)

The lodge was fantastic. Great little bar and seating area. Plenty of space to sunbath if you don’t want to walk to the beach or a hotel pool area. There are trips available. These are run by locals from the village and are well worth the money. There is also an excellent gift shop in the village which is run as a cooperative.

Beautiful place, amazing rooms/tiny house to stay in and the food (payed) is some of the best vegetarian food I've had. If you take your time to explore and talk with the people running the place you'll find a beautiful permaculture farm on a piece of land that used to be barren. They can be proud of what they've achieved there! Highly recommended!

Camp Henry Njamba-Home Away from Home

This was my second month-long stay - I really appreciate this lovely place just four doors down from the Kachione/solar4africa/Affordable Solar for Villagers' workshop where I volunteer. The other guests - mostly medical interns with long-term rental agreements - were interesting people. The Camp Henry staff: Adi, Martha, Ruth and Wycliff, are thoughtful and kind. I look forward to the completion of the back guest house, which will add further options for guest accommodations.

Homely lodge in a great location right on the water. Bruce is super friendly and helpful. The restaurant does a great job with local fish and pizza. Highly recommended!
