The place was super tidy and had two bags of cookies on the table for us when we arrived. Carolina was very kind in being flexible with check-in, she always responded quickly, the place was super clean and really is very close to the subway, you can walk. The neighborhood is also very safe. I recommend it.

The accommodation is somewhat improvised in what used to be outbuildings, but no less attractive for that. Bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are not connected, you have to go outside, but it is covered with a dome. What was very practical and important to me was the entrance gate with parking space for the car. That was safer, I had tools in the car. Kitchen and bathroom are super equipped with all sorts of things you might need. Bravo ! The street is very lively. The neighborhood is not really quiet. I can imagine that it can be very busy and noisy in the high season, or that you can hardly get in or out with carnival, but I didn't have any problems with that in May.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this Airbnb! We were a group, and from the very beginning, we felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The house is beautiful spacious, well-equipped, and super comfortable perfect for groups looking to relax and enjoy their stay in comfort. Marcia and Andréia were both amazing throughout our time there. Always available, kind, and attentive, they made sure everything ran smoothly and that we felt at home. The best location in Barra, the apartment matches the photos and descriptions, the building is easy to get around, it is a quiet place and the environment is always clean with the daily cleaning that is done in the apartment. Mr. Mario is very attentive and available! I'll be back!

Only 20 minutes walk from centre or 10 by car, also walking distance from Escadaria Selaron (very tourist place). The place has amazing views from the swimming pool I was able to see the sunrise and the sunset every day. With local shops all around the building if you’re like me that like to stay and cook some times, if not there’s a lot of restaurants that you can find in the area. I had an amazing experience staying at Emilia’s place. 100% recommended.

Her apartment is very comfortable, well-equipped, secure and perfectly located, a few minutes from Ipanema beach and close to the best areas of Rio. We felt comfortable there and appreciated his tips that allowed us to better discover the city. A very good experience that we would recommend without hesitation!

We’ve stayed at tons of AirBnBs over the years and Andre and Raul’s was one of the coolest and Most memorable ever!! Andre and his father Raul were so incredibly kind, and the most gracious hosts. What we loved from start to finish - * Andre helped us get a driver to the house easily from Copacabana * Check In was flexible and he allowed us to store our things after we got in early * The home itself….omg it’s so awesome. Just like the pictures if not better! I wish we had booked for a week! * Amazing hiking nearby with trailheads that started right down the road leading to beautiful vistas, waterfalls, and monkey and toucan sightings! * Speaking of monkeys, we loved that on our first morning there one particularly friendly one came by to say hi! * The community is lovely, and we had a blast meeting some of the nearby neighbors who were also so welcoming * Views are absolutely stunning, especially from the back deck of the house and the pool! Thank you so much Andre, Raul, & (Lola!)

A very comfortable apartment on the 31st floor, which allows for very nice views of the city. It has furniture, appliances and utensils that are very useful for travelers. The terrace is very nice and the pool is phenomenal, heated and large. The location is excellent, some nearby places are the Museum of Tomorrow, Uruguiana, Monasterio San Benito, Real Gabinete, Confiteria Colombo, Convento de San Antonio, just to mention the closest but by Uber you can quickly get to many other places in less than 10 min. Eliane was always attentive, responded quickly and maintained good communication at all times. This apartment, which is in the heart of this great and beautiful city, is highly recommended.

The accommodation in the house was good, Cris was always willing to help, the location was very good, because I did a test nearby.

Such a clean and spacious place to stay for a week! Very walkable to almost everything you need in Rio. The beach is right out front, multiple restaurants within 2-3 mins of walking, and the grocery stores are right across the building. Quite honestly such a steal for the spot you’re getting! Never felt unsafe in our stay here and the doormen were always greeting us! Host was extremely responsive in a timely manner. The view from the balcony overlooking copacabana beach is also breathtaking! If you do have an earlier flight before check-in or a later flight after check-out, the doormen might not be comfortable keeping your luggages in storage which is not the host’s fault. It honestly depends on who is working at that time. Which I understand because we had a bunch of big luggages. The doorman working at the moment just wasn’t comfortable being responsible for that many personal belongings. There is a storage unit company just right across the street and we had no problems using it!

Very nice and recommended apartment with great location close to Copacabana (only one block away). Directly below the complex there was a supermarket that carried everything essential. The apartment was as described in the pictures and very clean. We would book again.

Alvaro was very attentive with us from the beginning. The place is very faithful to what the pictures show. Well located, one and a half blocks from the beach, close to markets, restaurants and bakeries. Very well equiped. Great cost x benefit.

I had such a wonderful stay!! Andre was a great host, and he provided so many essentials within the airbnb (laundry detergent, bathroom necessities, beach towels/chairs, etc). He was super responsive whenever I reached out with a question or needed help with anything. The apartment is really nice and clean as well. I had stayed in Leblon with my partner for a week. Some of our highlights were the close proximity to the beach, the apartment's beautiful view, and shopping at the all nearby malls/stores. I would 100% recommend and would book this apartment when I visit again. Thank you Andre

The stay at Kfofo was wonderful! The space is extremely cozy, pleasant to be in. The apartment is very well thought out, with the space well used and everything done with great affection and care. Automation is a very nice detail, and access to movie and music Streamings through Alexa is an extra kindness from the host. Near the apartment, there is everything you need. The neighborhood is very quiet, I felt very safe to walk around. Allan was very attentive, kind and always willing to help, give tips. I will definitely return to Kfofo, it has become a reference for me in Rio.
