The place next to the ricefields is amazing! You are in the middle of the nature, flora and fauna just next to you. The rooster is still your natural morning bell - punctually to the minute for this beautiful sunrise above the mountains. Lullungs family and their friends lent always a sympathetic ear to us and were so lovely! Indonesian language skills could be helpful - body language and a translation app were our best friend. ;) But it's also no problem to contact Lullung, their son, who is not living there but always there for you and able to speak english. We ate two delicious dinner from Lullungs mother. The house is in some parts a bit under construction but not annoying, you have everything you need. We had a great time there!

A very welcoming and friendly family with 2 adorable 6 and 12 year old daughter. They could all speak English. It was like visiting family. Highly recommended.

Lovely place with a nice location near universites (UNM, UMM), the mall, and some lively parts of town. The place is generally easy to find- enter the complex from the south if by car/bike- and the neighborhood's nice. Inside, well-stocked kitchen, nice decorations, very good rooms with private bathrooms, hot showers, and western toilets. You might not have a window, though. Great food nearby- check out sop saudarata' just a quick walk north, and a little farther, a strip of solid restaurants with some surprisingly good korean barbecue. Overall, nice place for a fair price in a nice part of town- I'd come back, and I'd recommend it to others, too.

Meyske and her mother are great. They really make you feel at home. Both are very helpful and even though Meyske was not present during our stay, she always arranged everything remotely. Every day, she asked if everything was okay, if we needed anything and arranged for us a great guide, Natalia, who led us into their culture and showed us a lot of interesting and beautiful places. Meyske also arranged a taxi for us from Makasar airport to Rammang Rammang, although this was not related to our stay at her place. She also arranged for us places on the bus back to Makasar and was on the phone with us until the last minute to make everything work. I didn't get more care from the host than I did with her. She got in touch with us with a video call about a month before we arrived and described everything in detail. Just great service. The place was simple, clean, comfortable. Breakfast was good. We borrowed a scooter from them as well. Simply put, the service is highly above average and the accommodation is good.

I spent 5 days with Meyske. The accommodation was very nice, and the location was great as well. I was able to rent a scooter on-site and explore the area. Meyske was always available and also helped me with my onward travel. The breakfast and dinner were excellent every day. I hope to come back one day. Warm regards to the whole family and the village. Overall, this was one of my best experiences on my trip! ❤️
