In the kitchen, you will find all the necessary utensils. There is also an electric kettle, a coffee maker, a microwave, a stove/oven, and a tabletop dishwasher. In the dressing room adjacent to the sauna, there is a cold-water toilet, and outside, there is an outhouse/wooden toilet. A wood-burning fireplace, a gas grill for outdoor use. Renovated in 2026.

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Here you can enjoy nature and total peace just a 10 min. car drive from Savonlinna centre. You have a good chance of spotting the endangered Saimaa ring seal, often swimming in front of the cottage. Both the cottage and the sauna are just a few meters from the lake shore. There is a rowing boat for guests to use.
